"Maria?" Inojin said breaking up the hug.
"Yes," I responded.
"Wanna ditch I don't feel like going," Inojin asked. Oh My Gosh. Did Inojin just ask me if I wanted to skip school? I always thought I was the bad influence. Turns out it was him.
"Sure, but only if you tell me what's wrong," I said.
"You may look like a little cute innocent girl but you are twisted," Inojin said with a chuckle.
I did my famous innocent but cute smile on him. "I am sorry Maria, but I just can't tell you," Inojin said looking down. I pouted. My innocent but cute smile always works on Inojin, but this time it didn't. Now I know something must be really wrong. "Why not?" I said with a pout. "You just have so much going on in your life right now. I do not want to add to your problems,"
"Inojin, I love you. Your problems are my problems and my problems are your problems," I said. That didn't really come out right. It sounded way better in my head.
"Are you sure you really want me to tell you?" Inojin asked. I nodded. "Well, my parents and I are moving tomorrow. We will live about 10,000 miles away from here,"
My eyes started to water. Inojin moving? "Is that why you started spending so much time with me," I asked. "Yes, I wanted to spend my last days here with you," Inojin said.
Before I knew it, I started crying. I never imagined Inojin leaving me. "But I will come back," Inojin said grabbing my hands. "When?"
"I'm not sure. But nothing could ever separate me from the love of my light," Inojin said.
"It's getting late you get going," I said pushing him away. This would be the last time I would look at his bluebell eyes. Inojin started to walk away, but he turned around and looked deep into my eyes. He grabbed my waist and said: "Can I get a goodbye kiss?"
I nodded. He pressed his lips against mine. His lips are so soft and they tasted like strawberries. We have been kissing for at least about 5 minutes until Inojin broke it up. He pulled me close to his chest, so close I could feel his heartbeat.
A tear fell from my eye because I knew this would be the last time I would hug Inojin.
