The cold feeling of the metal beam you leaned against caused chills to run throughout your body as goosebumps covered your arms. Wrapping your left arm around the pole you adjusted slightly as you sat on the narrow edge of the bridge. Looking up you couldn't help but think of how beautiful everything looked. The full moon in the sky illuminated everything to create a peaceful atmosphere. The calming sound of rushing water below seemed to almost put you into a state of ease. As your eyes fell to the water below you couldn't help but feel a single tear fall down your cheek as the past few hours ran through your mind. You'd messed up, badly, and now the ones you loved were suffering, again.

Six Hours Earlier

Pulling up to the older house you heard Dean groan, "Yeap, gotta be the right place, creepy as usual."

Parking the impala under some trees so no one would see you coming everyone climbed out and headed for the trunk. Handing you a pistol Dean watched you begin checking the clip and chambering a round as he finished grabbing everything you would need. Reaching forward to place a silver knife in your hand you were surprised as Deans fingers wrapped around your hand, trapping the blade between you. Waiting until you met his eyes Dean gave you a half smile, "You've got this sweetheart, stay with me and Sam and everything will be fine."

Swallowing the lump in your throat you nodded, taking the knife and sliding it into your boot you followed both brothers around the house and towards the back door. Just as you reached the back porch that bad feeling came crashing back in. Pushing it aside once more you watched as Sam and Dean shared a look to silently communicate before the younger Winchester opened the door and went through first.

Shooting you a quick glance Dean followed his brother with you right behind him. Keeping your pistol ready you stayed right behind Dean as you kept a lookout. Moving through what appeared to be a kitchen all three of you froze as the sound of someone walking was heard in the next room. Turning back to share a look with you and his brother Sam motioned Dean towards the door down the hall as he nodded towards the one in front of him. Nodding once Dean turned and signaled you to stay put in the kitchen.

Knowing he wanted you to play lookout in case something went wrong you nodded once as you tightened the grip on your pistol. Watching as both men moved forward you listened to them bust into the room almost in sync. Moments later shots rang out as growls were heard.

Wait, growls?

Running forward into the next room your eyes widened seeing both Winchesters fighting against a werewolf as one other came running forward. Seeing him run towards what you recognized as Sam's gun on the floor you quickly shot towards him as you moved further into the room. Hitting him in the arm and side your eyes widened as he turned towards you, fangs and claws extended. Flashbacks of your nightmare came back instantly causing you to freeze. Rushing towards you the man tackled you to the floor. Feeling your head slam against the hard wood your grip loosened on your weapon causing the gun to drop a foot or so away.

Grabbing your shoulders and slamming you once again onto the hard floor the man growled loudly as your vision began to darken. Hearing someone yell your name you tried to fight back but felt as though you were moving with cement running through your veins. Suddenly the man was tackled off of you, turning your head you saw flashes of Sam wrestling with the man.

A loud cry of pain rang in the room and your eyes widened seeing Sams mouth open in shock. The first wolf he had been fighting with seemed to come from no where and dug his claws into Sam's back as the one on the floor took the opportunity to rake his claws along his chest. A high pitched scream left your lips as you watched Sam fall to the side. Adrenaline coursed through your veins as you moved to grab your gun. Lifting the pistol you quickly fired until the clip was completely empty.
