I Love You

"I'm getting tired." I said with a yawn

"Me too." Hayes responded

He walked me up to my room an we laid on my bed. His arms wrapped around me. My head on his chest. I drifted to sleep

Dream

It was the 8th grade me and Hayes were hanging out. It was spring break. We were in my back yard swinging.

"I love you Raegan... not like a friend love I mean like a girlfriend boyfriend love." Hayes said.

I stopped my swing in shock. I stared at him with my mouth open a little. I got up and sat in the sand box.

"What's wrong?" Hayes asked walking toward me.

"Nothing just shocked." I told him.

"Do you not want me to like you or love yoj?" He asked.

"I dunno."

"Well how bout we are just friends with benefits not like screwing or anything but like stuff like this." He said leaning in. I pulled away and he landes face first in the sandbox.

Skips 2 years

"Slut." Hayes blurted

"Stop being an ass Hayes." I told him crossing my arms.

Dream OVER

I blinked a few times to see Shawn sitting at the end of my bed. Me and Hayes still in the same romantic position we were in when we fell asleep.

"Awe." Shawn said with a click when we took a picture with his phone.

"This is so twitter worthy!" Shawn shouted walking out of my room.

I rolled my eyes and tried to gently position myself so I am comfortable.

I heard a grunt and then a yawn. I looked up at Hayes hopping I didn't cause him to wake up.

"Hello beautiful." Hayes said kissing my forehead.

"Hello handsome." I said pecking his lips.

"Did I wake you?" I asked innocently.

"Nah you didn't wake me up gorgeous." He answered. I smiled and laid my head back on Hayes's chest.

"I love you." Hayes said

The echoes threw my head as I remember the dream I just woke up from.

I sat up and looked Hayes in the eyes.

"Why did we use to hate each other." I ask out of nowhere.

I see Shawn out of the corner of my eye listening but I just don't pay attention. Hayes takes a deep breath and sits up.
