Luke walked into the girl's room, surprised when both therapists left. They said to come down to the office by five for tea.

She was laid on her bed, under the covers with her eyes practically shut. He didn't know what to do with himself , and just sat on the chair.

Often, he caught her staring at him and it made his heart flutter- only, Michael said it wasn't the best to be in love while recovering.

But that was at the start.

They'd both grown, and got better, not fully but would they ever be? He wasn't supposed to hear it, but he'd heard the three therapists giving the time frame of a month. Freya would need to come back for more appointments with Ashton but they'd be out for school. Calum was the year above but it didn't matter.

And he was excited.

"Why are you sat on the chair?" she laughed, "I want a hug,"

"From me?"

"No, from the ghost in the corner,"

He bit his lip and climbed under the covers, wrapping his arms round her frame. She rested on his chest and closed her eyes.

"What if you guys get out before me?"

"I'm sure we will leave at a similar time,"

"Will we stay in contact? Where are you gonna study?"

"Well they generally apply us to whatever is closest. You move all the time though,"

"I'm not going with my dad anymore,"

"Has he come to visit?"

"He's too busy, he always has been," the girl sighed, putting her own arm across Luke.

"I only get on with my mum. Calum's home life isn't too great either but he's gonna live with his sister,"

"I don't know what I'm gonna do. I guess there'll be a dorm room, and I've gotta hope my dad gives me some money because I don't have a job to buy food,"

"We could be roommates," Luke said, "Naomi has power, she could put me, you and Calum together,"

"Calum would be with us?"

"Yeah, we would all start at the same time. I want to product design and media,"

"I want to do psychology,"

"That's cool,"

They laid in silence for a few minutes, until Freya propped herself up on her elbow.

"You're cute,"

"Sorry?"

"You heard,"

She couldn't bare laying here, holding it in. It was getting more and more intense, and she just wanted him.

At first she'd worried it was just to fill a gap, but there wasn't much of a gap to fill anymore.

"That really came out of no where huh?"

"Well... yeah," she shrugged, "sorry,"

Luke blushed a little, a smile creeping onto his face. He still felt a bit rough about himself, and hearing that was different. Especially from her.

"It's ok," he said quietly, "I needed to hear that. I think you're beautiful but you don't see it,"

"What?"

"I take it you've never had someone like you back," he chuckled, stretching out and looking at the clock. If they were gonna make it on time, they had to leave now.

"I just didn't expect you to be so blunt,"

"Do you actually like me?"

"No I'm just fishing for compliments,"

"Well you're so confusing,"

"Good,"
