Calum made space on the bed for Luke, his food almost gone. Naomi was listening carefully as he told her how he'd felt that day, happy to meet new people but sad to see her like that.

The boy next to him was shaking, his food not touched.

"Hey Luke, I haven't seen you for a few days," the woman said, trying to make him as comfortable as possible. She knew his symptoms, and was battling with the doctors to give him the medicine he needed.

"Am I in trouble?" the boy asked timidly, "I feel too sick,"

"No, you're not in trouble. Why don't you tell me what's making your tummy feel that way?"

Calum rubbed his back, feeling the boy's pounding heart through it.

"I want to be Freya's friend and I got too excited and accidentally ruined all of Ashton's work,"

"You haven't ruined his work, I think he will get some vital information about what caused it that night,"

"When can Luke see a dentist?" Calum blurted out, more than worried for his friends health.

"Why, do you need one Luke?" Naomi asked, clearly seeing that he did.

"No, I'm fine. I can't eat this food," he burst out, pushing it away and knocking it off the bed. Neither of them had any right to go into such personal level, even if Calum was his best friend here.

"He's just trying to help Luke, it can't be nice for your mouth to feel like that,"

"My whole body hurts, what's the difference?"

He pulled the door open, it being unlocked due to Calum's progress, and stormed out. He was determined to find Michael.

Michael was currently holding down Freya's thrashing legs as she screamed. Tonight in particular, her body was craving those toxins to stay alive.

"It burns," she panted, her whole
body feeling on fire.

Ashton looked down at her, wondering how this same girl was crying and asking for a hug just a bit ago.

There was a deafening scream, all the pain in her face and sweat dripping down concerning the two doctors.

"Ow," she sobbed, pin pricks of electricity going down her body.

"Is this her first day without any medicine?" Michael asked.

"Yes, clearly it's gonna be nasty,"

"Help," she panted, "help!"

Luke stood outside her door, hearing her scream and cry. This surely wasn't the same girl he met earlier.

Without thinking, he opened the door and marched in, seeing Michael's head snap up.

"Luke, I suggest you go back to Calum immediately, this can be upsetting to see,"

"Have I done this to her?" he asked, in  panic because he'd never seen anyone quite so bad.

He started sobbing, falling to the floor and covering his ears.

"Luke, leave," Ashton said sternly, worried he could see what they were. Her top was hanging off in her attempt to cool down, revealing multiple marks across her stomach.

What concerned the two therapists more was that some of them were fresh and there was nothing in here at all. Not any drawers with screws, no packaging and we'd searched her bag thoroughly.

Her skin was red, her chest moving up and down at a great speed as she pushed against our arms with all her might.

She was in agony.

Again, the door opened only this time it didn't shut. Calum saw his friend on the floor, heaving him up so he could get him out.

Even the screams were too much for Calum, and his memories were less terrifying. Luke was thinking of when it was him trashing round, crying.

"Luke," Naomi breathed out, "you and Calum need to go to my office. Now,"

Everyone who was allowed their room open was now looking out, the screams echoing down the hallway as the door had opened.

Naomi had to go to their last resort.

One prick, and she was out.
