you groaned in agony as drax carried you aboard the guardians ship. you hadn't been on the little team of hero's long, you barely knew any of them. you've been trying to prove yourself strong to the group instead of just being the brains behind everything. while one your little side quest you managed to get yourself hurt while on a "mission" as they call it.
you couldn't see how bad you were injured, you just knew it hurt like a motherfucker and it made even gamora cringe. quill had stayed on the ship for once, which was surprising since he liked playing the leader. maybe he knew you wanted a chance to prove yourself. it's safe to say it made him do a double take when he saw you.
