"Why don't you let us go to the salon?" I ask Annabel as she is beginning to look stressed about her appearance to the ball

"That's a good idea" she says

"Ok, lemme change into something presentable, imma be right back" I say and hurry off to the closet.
I pull out a random outfit and shrug it on

I slip on my red converses and pull my hair into a bun. I pick my purse and phone and we're off

"That was fast" she says and I chuckle

"Well I had already showered in the morning so I just had to change" I say

"Going somewhere?" Jace asks once we're downstairs

"Yep, we're going to the mall" Annabel answers

"Be safe. Bye girls!" He waves and we wave back.

We sit in the car and in twenty minutes we're there

"Now that was fast" I repeat her words from earlier and we both chuckle

"Less time" she says and I wonder what she has to do that she doesn't have time for. Apparently the ball starts at 7:00pm and it's 3:00pm now, so we have like four hours

"If you say so" I mutter and we walk in

The hair do took pretty long since we didn't have an appointment die to the fact that it was so out of the blue.
Right now we'rein one of the stores since Annabel has decided that we should get a new dress
I've changed into a lot of dresses and still nothing has really caught my eye
Until...

"Ma'am, would you like to try this one?" The lady asks with a thick French accent

"Of course" I take it and put it on and indeed, it's the one

"How much is this?" She asks

"That'll be $5000 dollars ma'am"

"That's okay, I'll have it" I say

Soon we're on our way home and I couldn't feel more glad, I'm so worn out, wish I could sleep, but that's obviously not possible

We get home and I immediately make a beeline for the kitchen

"Girl you know we're suppose to be getting ready right?"

"Girlyou know a girl's got to eat right?" I retort and she rolls her eyes and makes her way to her room

I make a fast and furious sandwich, very funny I know. Cut some tomatoes and circle sliced onions with ham and cheese, and chug it down with a glass of orange juice. I don't bother wiping my mouth, I going to take a shower anyway, I get to the room and Anna is done with her shower and doing her make up, telling me to hurry so she'll get mine done. I strip out of my clothes immediately I'm in the bathroom and put some flavored cinnamon shower gel with lavender in the bubbled water, I step one leg in it and us warm enough, I put on a hair cap and scrap my body well and thoroughly, relaxing with the heat.

"You getting out yet?" Annabel asks knowing on the bathroom door

"Coming" she just can't let me rest

I get down and dry myself. I put on a fresh pair of undies once I'm in the closet and return the hair cap to the bathroom. I put on a robe while Annabel does her magic on my face, aka makeup.

"You can turn around now" she says after 30 minutes of poking brushes and blushes

I gasp when I look at myself, I'm a completely changed person, but in a goodway

"It's beautiful Annabel, thank you" I say

"Welkies hun"

"Now put on that dress" she continued

I nod and take out the dress from its hanger, careful not to destroy the material
I strip off the robe and slip on the dress. It's beautiful, clings onto me like a second skin
It's a long red lace sexy see through dress

I match it with a pair of Christian Louboutin Marie Paillette

"Girl you look hot" she says

I was about to reply when a knockon the door interrupted me

"Good day ladies, sir Jace said that I should bring this to Ms. Hamilton" the butler, Mr. Hitler says. I've told this man times without numberto call me Detia, but he doesn't, so I leave him to it.

He hands me a gifted wrapped rectangles box. What can it be?

"Thank you" I say softly with a smile

"You welcome" he says and walks out

I unwrap it and what I see, makes me hand my mouth open.
