And the clock chimes as the hours move on no end.

This is how long Gideon has been out after telling he was going to be right back as of he'll jump out of nowhere in three seconds. Why does he make my trust slip away like this?

Not wanting to mope around here, I get up from the seat and walk to the dance floor. And when Most Original by Sean Paul and Stonebwoy comes on, I forget that my boyfriend just lied to me, I forget that eyes are watching, I forget I'm wearing heels and I forget my senses. I dance and dance and dance until all I feel is numbness.

I decide that is enough and start the Gideon scavenger hunt. I walk up to the kitchen but I don't see him, I go to the play rooms as well, but when I don't see him there either or anywhere downstairs, I decide to check up the stairs instead. But as I climb it, I get the feeling that whatever I'm going to see will break my heart and I don't even know if I'm ready for that yet. I check all the bedrooms and nada, I find nothing. Just when I was going to make a beeline for the stairs again, my eyes dart to the door straight to the end and decide that if I have checked all, why not the last one?

For some reason as I near the door, my palms get sweaty and I start feeling hazy, but I push the feeling aside and slowly with all the quietness, twist the handle open. And to say I was shocked from what I saw in there, would be an understatement.

Gideon was shamelessly cheating on me, like I wasn't even downstairs. I wonder if he even cares that I'll get to know what he's up to. Nothing hurts more than this. And right now, all the memories I tried to let go of, coming rushing back in full speed like a tsunami. I close the door silently, you would think is stupid, but I'd say is decency. I'd want to know if he has some decency left when I ask him about it, and besides, I respect myself too much to have a WWE with a girl over a guy who doesn't even care. Besides, is not her fault, is a party, she doesn't know he's taken.
I get down the stairs and do the one thing that I know; drink.
