Chapter 27

Hayley was rocking Hope, trying to get her to sleep, I rubbed my eyes, yawning.
She whispered" Gonna stay in here with her?" I nodded," Okay, sleepy heads." I smiles, Hope babbled again, Hayley sighed," Any chance you know how to get her to sleep?" I hummed the rhythm of You'll be in my heart, she smiled, humming it. Hope laid her head down, closing her eyes, I smiled at Hayley." Sleep well, you two." She put Hope in her crib, I laid down next to her crib, my hand was through the bars near Hope. I fell asleep, I think my hand got stuck,
I woke up to Hope crying, I tried to move but my hand was stuck, it hurt! I started crying, looking at Hope, I can't move my hand. Hayley came in, she sighed and lifted Hope up, and helped me get my hand out.
She said" Go play while I take care of Hope, huh?" I nodded, running out of the nursery and to my room, I sat down in my floor and touched my mom's necklace. I saw a woman's face, she seemed familiar... who is she? I got up then looked around, before speeding out of the compound.

I got to the cemetery, I saw a woman, The same woman from the image in my mind. I walked to her, she stopped and looked at me, with a smile,
I said" I'm Peter, what's your name?"
She said" I'm Freya."
" Does my mommy know you?"
" Who is your mother?"
" Kova Mikaelson, twin to Kol."
" Yes, she does. Do you know where she is?"
" She's dead, Finn killed her because she wanted to see me, Finn also killed Uncle Kol... and tried to kill me and my little sister."
" You're Peter Mikaelson?"
" Yes, do I know you?"
" No, I am the older sister to Finn, Elijah and Niklaus, Rebekah, Kol and Kova."
" You're the person who rescued Auntie Beks from the cursed house."
" Yes, I am. And I'm trying to help you all again, but it seems as though your uncles do not trust me."
I heard Uncle Lijah say" Peter, where are you?"
I said" I'm at the entrance, Uncle Lijah." Then he was next to me, holding out his arm in front of me, I looked up at him.
" What did I say about talking to strangers, Peter?"
" But she's not a stranger, Uncle Lijah, she's family." He sighed, then looked at her,
" Come along, you should not have left the compound." He lifted me up onto his hip,
" Bye, Aunt Freya." Then he sped off, I held onto him tightly. He took me to the compound before going across the river.

It was late, I woke from a scary nightmare, I think someone's coming after me and Hope. I walked to Hayley's room, I walked in, and tugged at her arm, she turned her head and smiled at me.
She whispered" Yes, Peter?"
I said" I had a nightmare, I wanna be with Hope to make sure she's okay."
" Hmm, is that all?"
Jackson said" It's okay to be scared, buddy."
" Yeah, it is, Peter."
I said" I'm not scared, I just wanna make sure Hope's not scared..."
" Alright, come on up." I smiles and climbed over her, Hope squealed as she saw me.
" Shh, Hope, it's time for bed, come here." I pulled her onto my chest, she cuddled into me, I smiled and looked at Hayley." We'll play in the morning, I promise, now shh." Hope babbled then I held her hand, she nibbled at my fingers as her eyes closed. I closed my eyes and fell back to sleep, I still don't think everything is right... someone bad is coming and we're gonna all be in danger.

I carried Hope to the water, I splashed it to show her,
I said" This is a lake! When you're a lot older, I'll bring you out here myself, and we'll play." She babbled, kicking the water," See! It's fun, one day we'll have fun, okay? Our family has a lot of problems, Hope, but they're gonna protect us from the evil monsters. I'm gonna protect you, always and forever."
I was woken up by someone lifting me out of the car, and carrying me,
I heard Hayley whisper" Lay him in his room, Hope's asleep too, I'll go lay her down."
Jackson whispered" Alright." My head flopped, and I whined," Oops." Hayley sighed,
" Goodnight, Peter." After a few minutes, I was laid down on my bed, I turned over and cuddled into my pillows.

I heard humming...

Into S2E17: Exquisite Corpse

I woke up to Hope's babbling, I wrapped my arm around her then felt someone's eyes on us. I opened my eyes saw Aunt Beks, I'm confused, am I dreaming? I smelled blood, I glanced sideways and saw one of the guards dead.
I heard Hayley say" Get away from her." They fought, then Uncle Nik came in, I watched as Uncle Nik was grabbed then Hayley... Uncle Nik slashed Aunt Bek's leg and she took off out the window. I breathed heavily, looking at them as they looked at us, what's gonna happen now?
I mumbled" Is Aunt Beks gonna be okay?"
Uncle Nik answered" Yes, she's just asleep, we'll fix it all tomorrow."
" Is the psycho taking over her body again?"
" How does he know about that?"
" Vampire hearing, Uncle Nik. I hear everything."
