3rd Person POV

[JP, Zuzu, and Yuya are walking together. Yuya is constantly asking JP a question and JP keeps refusing]

Yuya: Please?

JP: No.

Yuya: Please?

JP: No!

Yuya: Why not?

JP: It's not that I don't want to duel you, it's if I lose to you on purpose than it will tarnish my record!

Yuya: You care about your record more than your brother?

JP: I didn't say that. Also you should know that I would never lose on purpose and I wouldn't hold back. So what makes you think you can beat me?

Yuya: I guess you're right.

[Zuzu looks at JP and has a frown on her face. JP notices it but decides not to bring it up. Zuzu then has a determined look]

Zuzu: I have to go guys. I got errands to run. Tell my dad that I can't make it to class.

Yuya: That was weird.

[Yuya and JP walk home and meet Nico Smiley]

Nico: Yuya my boy! I want to become your agent to make you turn pro!

Yuya: You can really do that? But I need four more wins!

Nico: Exactly and I know where you can get them! I have scheduled four duels and if you win all four then you will make it to the championship!

Yuya: Thank you.

[Nico looks over at JP]

Nico: I also want to represent you, JP.

JP: Is it wrong to have two clients? Especially two duelists who have the same agent?

Nico: You're brothers! They'll allow it. So what do you say, Yuya?

Yuya: Count me in!

[Later that day, Sora is walking in front of the Leo Institute]

Sora: Who knew that Leo Akaba would start a duel school himself! I need answers but security looks really tight.

[Security was tight because a Leo Institute Professor was attacked. Julia, Dipper, and Kit walk over to the crime scene where it all happened.]

Dipper: So this is the crime scene.

[A police officer walks over. They ask him some questions but he wouldn't answer them. Then Julia had an idea. She runs away]

Dipper: Where are you going?

Julia: I'm following another lead!

[Meanwhile, Zuzu is talking to Sora. They were unaware that a certain Masked Boy was hiding close by]

Zuzu: Sora, please teach me how to Fusion Summon!

Sora: You want to teach to teach you? Wouldn't your boyfriend be better suited to teach you!

Zuzu: He's not my boyfriend! That's why I can't ask him. There have been attacks. I want to protect JP but I know I wouldn't be able to focus with him teaching me!

Sora: Because you like him!

Zuzu: No! I know his deck! He can summon four different ways. All I want to learn is Fusion Summoning. I know he would get carried away. It's his nature.

[Sora looks and spots the Masked Boy. The Masked Boy reveals himself. They both activate their duel disks and use to attack each other. The Masked Boy stands still with his duel disk activated. He no longer has his goggles.]

Sora: Who are you?

[The Masked Boy is silent]

Sora: You're not from around here are you?

Masked Boy: Neither are you!

Zuzu: Let's start with who you are? Is the latest incident your doing?

Sora: Latest incident?

Zuzu: A Leo Institute Professor was attacked.

Sora: That explains so much security in front of the building.

[Just then Julia walks in]

Julia: Talk! Or do I have to duel it out of you?

Zuzu: You don't know that he was the cause!

Julia: I will know when he starts XYZ Summoning!

Sora: XYZ Summoning huh? Interesting.

Masked Boy: I'm the one asking questions! Are you friends with JP?

Zuzu: Why does it matter?

Masked Boy: I need to talk to him. It's important!

Zuzu: Why do you want to speak to him?

Masked Boy: He's an old friend of mine.

Zuzu: Well I'm not letting you come anywhere near him! You want to get to him you got to get through me!

Masked Boy: It's not like that! I...

[Suddenly, Zuzu's bracelet begins to glow. JP's voice is heard]

JP: Hey, guys. What are you doing here?

[Julia, Zuzu, and Sora look for the Masked Boy but he seems to have vanished]

Julia: Great. He's gone!

JP: What happened?

Zuzu: We saw the Masked Boy!

[JP flinches at the name]

JP: (Thoughts) Which counterpart is impersonating me?

Zuzu: He said he needed to talk to you. Do you know what he's talking about?

[Astral appears next to JP]

Astral: I just spoke to the other Astral. It's your XYZ counterpart. He needs to talk with you. Everything reset. Shay is alive again.

JP: That's good. Tell him I'll meet him soon.

Sora: Who are you talking to?

JP: No one. Let's just leave. This place gives me the creeps.

[The whole gang walks away. The Masked Boy is near the area]

Masked Boy: There is JP. Did you deliver the message to his Astral?

Astral: I did.

Masked Boy: Good. I hope to meet soon. Only he can help us.

[In the night, another Masked Boy stands on top of the building looking at the Leo Institute]

Masked Boy #2: JP, I know that you're not the original friend of mine but I owe you my life. I will pay you back in full. But I need your help. We will hunt you down. Prepare yourself.
