JP (Original) POV

[I am moved conscious again. This time to my Syncro Counterpart. I know why I'm here. Today is my finals duel versus Akiza. I plan to talk her before the duel. We did go on a date. A small coffee date (I don't drink coffee) but it was a date. I walk outside the arena where we planned to meet before the duel]

Akiza POV

[Sayer, I don't care what you say. I'll never betray the Arcadia movement. You're my family. But does that mean I'm not allowed to happy? I love JP will all my heart. I know he sad and broken and I want to fix that for him. I'm not losing JP and you will not separate us]

3rd Person POV

[JP and Akiza meet at the meeting spot]

JP: Well, this is it. The finals. The winner faces Jack.

Akiza: I know. I don't want you to hold because I'm your girlfriend.

JP: I didn't plan on it.

Akiza: Sayer isn't too happy about what's going on between us.

JP: I know but that won't stop me.

Akiza: Same here. I love you, JP. I know your broken from losing your brothers but I want to fix that.

JP: Thank you, Akiza. I needed that.

Akiza: Now, let's have a great duel. Black Rose Dragon versus Blue Eyes.

JP: We'll see.

[Akiza kisses JP and walks away]

JP: (Thoughts) I'm sorry, Luna, but I need to use that deck.

[The duel is about to start. JP and Akiza face off against one another. The announcer announces their arrival]

Announcer: In this corner, we have the master of the Black Rose Dragon! The woman who is making a name for herself! Please welcome, Akiza!

[The crowd starts to boo her. JP expects her to be upset but is surprised that she has a smile on her face. JP is then introduced]

Announcer: Now please welcome the master of the Blue Eyes White Dragon! Today is revealing a brand new deck and changing his name to the Dragon Master!

[Everyone in the stadium is shocked. Especially Luna]

Luna: I hope you know what you're doing, JP.

Goodwin: What does he mean by new deck? Is he the signer that we've been missing?

Announcer: Please welcome the only man who has gotten within a turn of beating Jack Atlas, the long lost Kaiba brother, JP Kaiba!

[The crowd roars in excitement. JP looks at Akiza]

JP: Akiza, I want you to block out everyone and focus on me!

Akiza: I'm not worried about the crowd. I know you're my friend so I have nothing to worry about. I'll always be by your side!

[The crowd begins to boo again but Akiza continues to smile]

Sayer: You're making a big mistake, Akiza.

Announcer: This is it, folks! The winner of this duel faces off against Jack Atlas! Let's get this show on the road!

[JP and Akiza activate their duel disks]
