Have you ever heard the phrase, "The devil works hard, but God works harder?" Have you ever really thought about it?
Let's look at the story of Job...how long and hard did the devil beat him down? YEARS. The enemy took all that he had, his business, his livestock, his children, his health...his own wife said why don't you curse God and die already?
Job said he would still praise God, even if it killed him.
Job 13:15
Though He slay me, yet I will trust Him..
And as Job was faithful, God restored him TENFOLD. Today that equivalent would be like a homeless person becoming a multi-millionaire.
How many similar stories have we seen, of people coming under pressure, having their faith tested? Don't we love seeing homeless people or those in dire straits suddenly have their needs met, above and beyond?
How many stories are there...just the Christian movie industry alone, those are all based on true stories of God redeeming His faithful followers. Gods Not Dead, Fireproof, Courageous, Hacksaw Ridge, holy cow! Look those up, you won't be disappointed!
No matter how satan may try to tempt you or crush you, God will make a way. He didn't make us just to let us wither...
Not only did He give us a way to Heaven, but we know that He will help us through life. It won't always be easy, we grow stronger in our faith through struggles..as we see in James.
James 1:2-5
"Dear brothers and sisters, when troubles of any kind come your way, consider it an opportunity for great joy. For you know that when your faith is tested, your endurance has a chance to grow. So let it grow, for when your endurance is fully developed, you will be perfect and complete, needing nothing. If you need wisdom, ask our generous God, and he will give it to you. He will not rebuke you for asking."
Psalm 55:22
Cast your burden on the Lord, and he will sustain you; he will never permit the righteous to be moved
God is working y'all. Just believe in it and stay patient. We should pray for guidance so that we only walk the path He wants us on, so that we only make decisions that will line up according to His plans for us.
Hebrews 10:36
Patient endurance is what you need now, so that you will continue to do God's will. Then you will receive all that he has promised
