Sasori:

"How much for this katana?" Asked a shinobi from Konoha who was just stopping by. He picked up the exquisite looking blade. Its blade was silver with a gold accented hilt. The handle itself was also silver and had blue string woven tightly around it. The sheath of the blade was pitch black with flecks of silver here and there. It shone like the stars when under the sun.

You let out a sigh before giving him the price. Nobody ever wants my puppets or puppet parts. It's always a kunai, shuriken, or some other weapon... Another sigh escapes your lips. He steps up to the register and pays for the katana then leaves. You felt a wave of relief wash over you. People were not exactly your favorite thing to deal with. You'd much rather deal with making puppets and weapons than people.

The bell on the door rings and you sigh yet again.

"H-hello!" You shyly say as an attractive young man with red hair and beautiful brown doe-like eyes walks up to you. He wore a black cloak with red clouds. You recognized it immediately. "H-how c-can I h-help you t-today?" You look away and blush deeply under his intense stare.

"I'm here for some new arms and legs for my puppets. They broke in battle and I'd like to repair them as soon as possible." You smiled shyly at his words. His voice was emotionless.

"Of course, let me show you where they are kept." A snicker was heard from behind the man in front of you. You look behind him to see another man wearing the same cloak. He had long blonde hair and blue eyes. His hair covered half of his face. He was attractive as well.

"Danna, your puppets fell victim to my art, un. They got in the way of my explosions, yeah." The blonde spoke.

"You were the one who set them off when you knew I was still down there, you brat." He spoke back harshly.

"True art is fleeting, un. Not eternal, Danna, yeah." The red-headed man ignored the dumb blonde behind him and turned his attention back to you.

"Hurry. I don't like to be kept waiting." You nod and quickly show him to the back of the room where all the parts for your puppets were kept. They were all clean and freshly polished. You were very particular about not letting them get dusty just in case someone wanted a part.

"Here are the left and right legs," you point to two boxes next to each other. "The arms are next to the left legs and separated as well. I've hand carved each piece and they are able to carry any weapons you want in there. If you don't want to put the weapons in yourself or don't know how to, then I can do it for you." You say in a rush. The red-head glares at you.

"I know how to put weapons in puppets, brat." He rudely snaps at you.

"I-I a-apologize. I-I d-didn't mean to be rude." You mumble. His gaze softens a little as he takes in your upset expression. He turns back to the parts in front of him and digs around until he finds the correct part he needs.

"These are beautifully made. They weren't exaggerating about your skills as a puppet maker." You blush at his words and realized that was most likely the closest thing to an apology you'd get from him.

"Thank you," you speak quietly. "Let me know when you're ready to check out." You rush back to the front of your shop and wait patiently for him and his friend. 'This is weird... Why am I so patient with this guy? Normally I'd want them out as soon as possible. Maybe it's because he likes my puppets...?' You wonder contently with a small smile on your face.

"Danna, look at this, un! Ha-ha! It looks like garbage compared to all the other puppets, yeah! Yours aren't even as bad as this, un!" You hear the blonde laugh.

"Crap... I thought I put that one away..." You move from behind the counter to quickly get rid of the puppet. When you reach the blonde and red-head you see that the puppet is now on the ground and shattered into a number of pieces. Your (e/c) eyes widen at the sight. How you didn't hear it drop is unknown.

"You idiot! You destroyed a puppet!" Shouted the red-head.

"I didn't mean to, un! It was an accident, yeah!" Both men turn to look and see if anyone had seen anything. Their eyes landed on you. The blonde's eyes widened in shock and he quickly started to apologize. Saying that he really didn't mean to drop the puppet. Tears well up in your eyes but you quickly blink them away. They wouldn't help you in this case.

"Leave." You mutter.

"What?" They ask.

"Leave, both of you! Get the hell out of my store!" You shout. The blonde jumps a little at your now angry expression. Whereas the red-head narrows his eyes.

"I can help you fix it."

"No, you can't." You glare back at him.

"But-"

"I said LEAVE!" The two men look at each other and nod. They walk away but not before setting down a couple of hundred Ryo on the counter.

"For the parts and the destroyed puppet." Says the red-head. You only nod in response as you hear the bell chime again. Telling you they were gone. You get down on your knees and start picking up the pieces of the now broken puppet.

"I'm sorry," you say to the air. "I'll fix you up right now. I'm really sorry, grandma." You stand back up, carrying the pieces in your hands. You make your way out of the shop and into a small workroom. Setting down the parts you sigh sadly. The broken puppet had been the last puppet your grandmother had made for you as she laid dying on her bed. 'It's not my best work... But I want you to have this to always remember me by... I love you so much, my beautiful (Y/n). You'll outgrow your shy nature one day... I know you will, my beautiful marionette.' You mouthed the last words of your grandmother as your tears finally fell.

"I miss you so much, grandma." You pull the chest piece of the puppet close to your heart and cry silently for a while.

On the outside of the workshop, was a man with red hair, listening to your muffled cries.

Below is the puppet your grandmother made for you! Just imagine it a lot more broken and poorly carved.
