'Oh no you better not be eating everything in the house!' You say to your 10 month daughter Annie, as she sits on her high chair chewing on her cup

You hear front door open as your husband Paul comes home

'Y/n, I'm home!' He shouts

'We're in the kitchen!' You shouted back

'How are my two princesses?' He says as he kisses yours and Annie's cheek.

'How was training?'

'It was good. Me and Jesse made a new handshake and dance. We have a game in two days so we trained really well for it. Maybe if, no when one of us score, we will use them as a celebratory dance.

'Glad you boys had fun. Meanwhile I have been stuck lil Annie and she has been teething. If I let her, she could have eaten your shirts' I say

'Nice to see my little girl growing up' he says as he picks her up in his arm. She playfully laughs when he picks her up.

'She needs to get to bed now, she should be tired. Go and change her nappy'  I said

'But that's not fair!' He pouts

'Life's not fair' I say back

Paul carries Annie into her bedroom and placed her on her changing mat.

'You missed your daddy didn't you. Don't worry. I will be here with your mummy so we can all cuddle up together' he said

'Da!' She squealed

'Wait what?!' He said with shock on his face

'Da!' She squeals again

'Say that again my angel'

'Da-Da!' She happily says

Paul can hear you walking up the stairs.

'Y/n! Get in here. She just said something' he shouted

'Yeah yeah ye- wait who said what now?!' I say as I dashed up the stairs and into the bedroom

'Annie has just said her first words!' He proudly says as he holds her in his arm

'Da-da!' She says once more

'Oh my gosh!!!' You screamed

'See, told you she's growing up' he said as he kisses her cheek.

'Can you say ma-ma Annie?' You say

She leans on her dad as she tiredly rubs her eyes

'Yup she is definitely a daddy's girl' he laughs

'Aww but that's not fair' you say

'Life's not fair!' He teases

He puts Annie down in her cot as she quickly falls asleep
