Emily spent the week here with me before she decided to go apartment hunting. She decided that she would stay here in New York. I was excited for that fact.

She was going to a job interview at Hans Corps one of Adonis Corps biggest enemies in the business world. She would have decided to come work with me in Adonis Corps had there been a job opening but there wasn't so she had to compromise and find a job at Hans.

We spent the week days working and also finding apartments for Emily to live in near Hans Corps and also get her settled in by buying her furniture and groceries and all the things a new house had to have.

This week was going well until my mother had called me and told me Kelsey had a modelling and photshoot here and in two weeks she would be poisoning the atmosphere in my safe haven.

Joy.

I really do hope we will get along and if i am correct i have a feeling that Kelsey has to do with Daniel Levy cheating on my cousin. In fact, i think that Kelsey may have been his accomplice since she was always jealous that Emily had scored a good looking husband who cared about her - cared enough to propose to her. Kelsey is the type of person who hates seeing people happy and will do anything to destroy it, and i mean anything.

It does now make sense why Emily wouldn't tell me who was with Daniel, she wouldn't want the already horrible relationship with my sister to become even worse.

Daniel Levy was a respectable man who runs Levy Events, a company back in Lebanon that are involved with planning parties, events and celebrations and so much more. He was a tall man with broad shoulders and a brilliant smile. His green eyes twinkled when he was happy and even went a darker shade when he was mad. He had silk brown hair that was always brilliantly gelled. He was quite the looker, quite the charmer.

Emily on the other hand was a thin girl and loved sports she has a degree in architecture, since she loved mathematics in high school, and has long brown hair with light blonde high ligjts in. She has blue eyes and absolutely adores sports.

They were different people but they were compatible. They worked ot well and they balanced each other out. They were so in love and any one could see it. But then of course my beloved sister, do note the sarcasm, had to mess it all up. Maybe it was just in our genes, the Daniels' genes. Kelsey has many things women dream to have but she can't be grateful enough. She always wants more and the worst part of her personality is that she is greedy and is never, ever, ever satisfied. I guess that is what type of person she is.

Maybe she is mad that Emily could hold onto a C.E.O while she couldn't. My mother used to always say that what was on the inside reflected on the outside, so sure, Kelsey may be a model but she wasn't a kind person maybe that was why she hated Emily from the start, Emily had a heart of pure gold while Kelsey had nothing but a hard stone and a hard time holding onto poor unsuspecting guys.

The minute i got back to ny apartment i began cleaning up the messy house and dusting the silver and did the dishes and made syre to stock up on groceries before Kelsey arrives here, tommoroe.

Joy.

The door suddenly swung open and i found Emily drenched frim top to bottom a huge smile on her face, her cheeks flushed and her eyes wide and child like.

"Hey!" I greeted my by far favourite and closest cousin pulling her into a hug.

"You won't believe it!" She gasped, "I met someone, today," She admitted.

I grinned, "Already?"

"Yeah, his name is William Adonis, and he is rhe sweetest person you'll ever meet. He invited us both for dinner tonight and he promised to bring someone for you so you wouldn't feel like a third-wheel!" She saod all in one breath, i have no idea how she managed.

"Adonis?" I choked out.

"Yes! I think you work for hid brother Nicholas." She said excited.

"I think so too!" I managed to gasp out.

"Well that would be great it won't be too awkward since you guys know each other!" She saod waving her hands around like a crazy woman.

"Yeah right," I mumbled.

Just the thought of having dinner with Nicholas Adonis made my stomach fill upw uth huge butterflies. I know I probably shouldn't like him but i couldn't help it, Nicholas was the hottest and most handsome man i had ever met.

"So are you going to get ready, Perla, or decorate the hallway?" Emily asked laughing.

"I'll get ready," I finally decided.

Dinner with the Adonis twins couldn't possibly be that bad.

I wore a black dress that had some see through lace around the stomach area with a halter top neck. I kept my make up natural unlike Kelsey who usually applies two kilograms.

I slipped on a pair of black velvet heels before grabbing a purse anf red lipstick and headed out to fine Emily in a sky blue dress, her hair tumbling down in brown waves as she typed away on her sleek smart phone.

"Are you ready?" I asked her and she nodded.

"Let's go!" She said excited and i smiled.

Maybe William will help her get over Daniel.

"Hello Ladies do you have a reservation?" The lady at the front asked as she stood straight in her nine inch high heels.

"Yes," Emily responded, "We're here with William Adonis. I believe our reservation is under his name,"

"Alright then," She said her eyes widening as she led me and Emily to where the twins were sitting.

"Hello," Emily greeted them both before taking a seat right across from William leaving me to awkwardly slide into my seat in front of Nicholas.

I saw him studying me as i squirmed nervously under his intense gaze that never faltered.

"I'm so glad you both could join us," William said as Emily giggled.

I tried to focus on the two love birds but my subconscious couldn't help but feel Nicholas's eyes on me. I managed to get through the long night by fiddling with my napkin and at one point even had to sit on my hands despite how weird that actually was.

I found myself looking at Nicholas every once in a while and couldn't help but admire his brilliant jaw line or his perfect emerald eyes that contrasted with his jet black hair or the way there was a permanent smirk on his face.

He rarely spoke but when he did everyone paid attention. I found myself leaning towards him when he spoke, i couldn't control myself around this man.
