Life is such a fickle game we play

It’s a beautiful flurry of adventure

Yet we do the same every day

I want to taste every moment of my future

So I don’t waste any seconds

I try to make this life my best

And while the path always beckons

I try to map out my own quest

But the ink will fall and splatter

And the paper will blow away

While my eyes see every tatter

I know this light in my heart will stay

And so I write you this letter

As I plan to make my life better
