"CHASE GIVE ME MY PHONE BACK!" Chandler howls as I run out the front door.

I quickly finish typing and run out the front door.

I slam into someone just as I send the text.

"Babe, watch where you're going," Asher says.

I look up at him and give him a smile. "Hi."

"Hey," He gives me a dimpled smile and kisses me on the lips.

"CHASE! GIVE MY PHONE BACK!" My brother shouts.

Asher pulls back and raises an eyebrow. "Chaseeeeee.....what did you do?"

I bit my lip. "I just scored him a date with his crush."

"Really?" Asher asks just as Chandler runs out of the house holding a water gun.

"I'm gonna kick your ass," Chandler threatens me.

"You wouldn't dare," I say.

"Oh, but sweetheart, I would," Chandler gives an evil grin and starts spraying me with the ice cold water.

Instead of helping or protecting me, Asher cracks up.

"SHE'S TYPING! OH NO! CHASE!" Chandler screams, pausing.

"Hey, babe?" Asher asks, hugging me from behind. "What did you say to her?"

"Oh, you'll see."

"CHASE?! I DON'T WANT TO!" Chandler shouts.

"Give me your phone, I'll fix it," I tell him.

Chandler glares at me. "I don't trust you."

"Just give me the phone, I got this," Asher steps in.

Chandler hands over his phone and my boyfriend types out a new text before handing it back to Chandler.

"She said yes!" Chandler cheers. "You fucking rock, dude!" He looks at me, "and you suck."

"Thank you," I reply with a mocking bow.

He rolls his eyes and heads inside.

"Someone's got an attitude," I mutter under my breath.

Asher laughs and wraps his arm around me.

"How's your day been?" I ask, turning my head to look at my boyfriend.

"Really good. How was yours?" He questions.

"I think you just saw it."

He chuckles and kisses the side of my head. "I love you."

He loves me. I love him. But most importantly, he loves my stupid ass.

"I love you too," I tell him, my lips tugging upward into a smile.

He smiles widely before pulling me in for a kiss.

"Chase! Asher!" My mom calls, interrupting us.

My boyfriend and I pull away and I turn my head so I can see my mom.

"I need to talk to you guys," She says.

"Okay, we'll be there in a second," I tell her.

She goes back in the house, and Asher and I resume with our kiss.

We go in the house and my mom is waiting for us at the kitchen counter with Chandler.

"Kavya's wedding is a few days which means we're going to have to leave tomorrow," Mom says.

Kavya is her brother's daughter who just recently got engaged, but I didn't know about the wedding.

I have exactly 3 weeks before I have to leave for Rice. If the wedding is in a few days, the traveling and preparations will take up almost a week and a half. Packing and shopping for college will take up at least half a week. That leaves me with only one week of freedom with Asher, my family, my friends, and everyone.

"Babe, you with us?" Asher asks.

I snap out of my thoughts. "Yeah."

My mom tells us the plan and I try my best to give her my full attention.

Asher notices and wraps his arm around my waist, pulling me closer.

Once my mom is done talking, she says one last thing before letting us leave. "Get packed. We hit the road at 4am tomorrow morning."

Chandler nods and goes upstairs. I take Asher up to my room.

"What's wrong?" Asher asks, shutting the bedroom door behind us.

"Nothing."

"Liar. Tell me what's wrong, baby."

So I briefly explain the time calculations.

"Is that what had you so worked up?" My boyfriend asks, tucking a curl behind my ear.

I look away.

"We'll make it work. Don't worry. I want you to enjoy the wedding as much as you can, okay?"

"Okay."

"I love you, Chase."

"I love you, Asher."
