Thirty-two

Nagising ako dahil sa sinag ng araw na tumatama sa mukha ko. I stared at my open window for a moment before finally deciding to stand up. I looked at the clock beside my bed and sighed when I saw that it's quarter past 7 already. I sighed again when I remember the things that I need to do for today. Akala ko makakapagpahinga na ako dahil weekend, di pa pala.

After taking a bath, agad na dumeretso ako sa walk-in-closet ko and chose a simple white V-neck shirt and shorts. I need to be comfy on what I wear dahil mahaba-habang araw ito para sa akin. I need to got to the market to buy some things for our upcoming event. Ako kasi ang na-assign na mamalengke para sa mga lulutuin namin for our charity bukas. It's an activity na taon-taon naming ginagawa with my co-psych students.

When I'm finally done, kinuha ko na ang maliit na backpack ko at inilagay ang wallet, phone atsaka lipstick. Yun lamang ang laman ng bag ko since di din naman ako nagmi-make up. Tho I really love lipstick. lol.

"Hey"

Kakasara ko pa lamang ng gate ko when I heard a familiar voice behind me. A smiling Fiero Alexis welcomed my sight when I turned around. Nakasandal sya sa mamahalin nyang sports car habang nakalagay ang isang kamay sa bulsa. He fucking looked like a model. Kung illegal lang dito sa pinas ang pagiging sobrang gwapo, malamang habang buhay na nakakulong ang lalaking to. Tsk.

"What are you doing here?" I coldly stated.

I was serious when I said na kakalimutan ko na ang kung ano mang meron kami dati. I need to forget and get rid of my feelings of him, I know it's hard lalo pa't parati syang nagpaparamdam. I don't know about how serious he was when he said na liligawan nya ako. I just need to stop myself from falling for him again. Mahirap, pero kakayanin. I don't want to get burnt by the same fire twice.

"Good Morning too" He stated sarcastically.

He flashed me a sweet smile as he opened the door of his car for me. Pero di agad ako kumilos, nakatayo lamang ako sa harapan nya habang nakataas ang kilay.

"Why are you here?"

"Ah, I'll be your personal chauffeur for today" He shyly stated.

"Thanks, but no thanks" I dismissed his offer. "I'll be fine on my own"

"No seriously Ayumi" He insisted. "Sasamahan kita. I don't want you to do it alone lalo na't sa mataong lugar ka pupunta."

I rolled my eyes and stood straight directly infront of him. I folded my arms on my chest and looked at him.

"How did--"

"Your club president told me" He stated, cutting off my question. "Now get in"

Isang malaking buntong hininga ang pinakawalan ko na nagpataas ng kilay nya. Argh. I can't believe Kaira will tell him about this. Nakakainis! Welll, I know I can't blame her since Fiero is the council president and he needs to know the plans and behind-the-scene activities, pero leche pati ba naman to? He's abusing his powers! Argh.

"Fine" pagsuko ko ng makita kong wala talaga syang planong tigilan ako. I saw how a smirk formed on his lips kaya agad ko syang sinamaan ng tingin. "But we won't be needing your car"

It's my turn to smirk ng gumuhit sa mukha nya ang pagkalito.

"What? Why?" Litong sambit nya.

"Just to remind you sir, na hindi po tayo sa mall mamimili. I don't want you flashing your multi-million car and attract the attention of the people there"
