"Oh? ba't ka nakasimangot? That's not a MVP's reaction after winning"

I sighed.

"Whatever Yra" I answered lazily.

"C'mon Captain, we just won the Championship the other day, and you were hailed the MVP of the conference! The Nationals is finally done. There's no room for some gloomy emotions! We should party and celebrate!"

"I ran out of luck today. sigh" I answered with despair.

I sighed again before umayos ng upo.

"Ha? What do you mean?"

"Ganito kasi yun" I started.

Kenshi laughed even more kaya sinamaan ko sya ng tingin. She saw me getting upset kasi kanina. psh.

"And?" Yra's getting impatient. tss.

"So I was planning to eat those special biko that was displayed earlier sa caf. I was really looking forward to eat those" Kwento ko with matching action pa sa kamay. "Tapos--"

"Tapos ano?"

"Tapos ayun" Kenshi said in the midst of laughter. You should've seen her face when the caf lady told her na ubos na yung bibilhin nya. She almost cried infront of everyone!"

Remembering earlier's even made me pout. True to what Kenshi had said, halos umiyak na ako sa caf kanina ng naubusan ako ng biko. I mean, its not that everyday they'll sell something like that. That was the first time I saw them selling biko at the caf. argh.

"Wait, what's biko?" Yra asked.

Kenshi laughed even more attracting some students nearby, akala siguro nila nabaliw na ang haponesang to. Kanina pa kasi tawa ng tawa. I shook my head and grabbed my phone on the bag, I then searched biko on the google and showed it to Yra. My mom told me it's a filipino delicacy called kakanin. I just happen to taste it once when my mom brought home nung napagtripan nila ni Tita Sapphire na libutin ang Pilipinas. Lol, mga bourgeois. I kinda like how it taste specially when paired with a hot chocolate drink and a ripe mango. Hmm. Maybe I should consider putting kakanin on my cafe's menu. Watcha think?

"Hey! Earth to Snow!!"

Yra snapped his finger closed to my face that dragged me back from my reverie. The sky is dark indicating na hanggang mamaya pa uulan. I like rain, it makes me calm actually.

"If you really want to eat those biko something, why don't you buy it nalang?" Yra suggested.

"Hello, as if I can drive somewhere with this kind of weather" I stated as if it wasn't obvious enough for her to notice the hard pouring of the rain outside. "As much as I want to eat it, I wouldn't risk my safety over my abnormal craving of sweets"
