We had a plentiful talk before deciding to head back to the Northern Village. While we're on the way there, I kept rethinking about the person I need to kill.

Enju: Hey, (Y/N).

You: Hm? What is it?

Enju: Are you alright?

You: Yeah.

Enju: That's good to hear.

Enju seems... to act more different than before, despite of her bitter attitude towards the person she just met like me. I wonder why.

- Enju's POV

If I'm going to win against that priestess, I need to get (Y/N) to like me. I will not lose to someone like her.

- Your POV

I just keep wishing that I'm back home. But, as long as the portal is not finished, there's no way I could.

- 1 Hour Later

We reached the guild room and entered. Turns out my sisters were still sleeping.

You: Will they always be like this?

Enju: They?

You: They always wake up late, even if they sleep early. Is their dream really that good that they just can't leave it?

Clint: That's what I do if my dream is good. I mean... who wouldn't?

You: What I always dreamed about is nothing more than flames...

Christiane: Oh. That's... quite sad to hear.

You: No, it's fine. I'm used to it anyway.

We had a moment of silence before coming up with a plan.

You: I think I should take a quest at the Quest Cabin. Maybe I can find something there that might interest me.

I walked out of the room and went to the Quest Cabin.

- Ilya's POV

He's going out again? Why doesn't he want us around?

There must be something here I can take that's easy enough for me to handle.

You: Kill a Giant Wyvern? The reward is a promotion to Captain rank and a ton of gold. Only elites can handle this.

Quest Handler: That's probably the most difficult quest that's ever been posted here. I wonder is it's even gonna be finished. It's a death sentence taking it.

You: I know...

Quest Handler: I got the perfect quest just for you. Here.

She gives me a quest paper.

Quest Handler: An alchemist is looking for a rare mushroom near the Wyverns lair. It glows bright red. So it's called the Magma Shroom.

You: Isn't this the same thing as fighting that Wyvern is it finds me near their lair?

Quest Handler: That's why I'm giving you my lucky charm.

She hands me a necklace with a red gem attached to it.

You: A necklace?

Quest Handler: It should give you enough luck for this quest.

I wore the necklace and looked at her.

You: Thank you. I'll be off now.

I'm pretty sure that the necklace won't protect me. But, I believe her when she said that it gives good luck.
