Writer's Note: Hey guys! so it's been a LONG time since I've written a poem (over a year or two). And I had to write one for school. SO I apologize for being out of practice, but I appriecate you reading this poem and I hope you like it!)

Time
What a funny thing it is
It is slow as other people getting ready
To take you somewhere
But it is as fast
As a fly
Buzzing around your head
What a funny thing it is
Time slips through your fingers
As the water in a pool
And leaves you
Like corn crops in summer
Blink and you’re dead
No, that’s not it…
Blink and most of your life is gone
Just like your favorite tv show
Ending the last season
Before you can have a chance
To watch it
The sky’s the limit
That’s what people say
But they never mention time
Because time is the real limit we have.
