I’m giving up
On my dreams on us
And my fantasies.
You’re clearly not into me
Even though most people see something between us.
I finally can’t keep denying the truth any longer
So please let me down gently,
But don’t let me get hope
Because then I’ll never get back up again.
I wish I was her
So we both wouldn’t have to hurt.
Please let me know what you want
So I can finally let go
