My wounds feel new
My wounds feel fresh
He left me the other day
Something months ago
He took more than he gave
Help me stitch these wounds
So I can ease my troubled mind
And then we can dine
Like it never even happened
I don't know why I'm feeling this way
I'm hurting again like it was yesterday
So if it's not too much to ask
Can you stay here and hold me
And tell me everything's going to be alright?
Can you help me stitch these wounds tonight?
