I use to try to write love songs
But I could never finish them
Because I've never been in love
So I gave up
Until you walked into my life
You gave me the hope that I needed
You showed me that the world is on my side
You gave me faith
Faith in myself
Faith in others
You helped me become stronger
You changed my perspective on life
You gave me the courage to fly
You made me who I am today
I was stuck on singing a broken melody
Before you came and changed me every way
There is so much more I wish to find the words to say
But there's only twelve words I can think of
That can sum it up;
You will always have a place in my heart
And thank you

So... This is for a dear friend who has helped me. I hope he is reading this right now :) I know I already told him that he has helped me in many ways.
