I fell through hole

And woke up in a strange new world

I was somewhere where there are interesting places

And many more faces.

As I was walking down the street,

And saw the moon was on the rise

I met a boy with a wicked smile

That seems to haunt me

Wherever I go.

The love was undeniable

I finally found someone indescribable.

I was living a fantasy

The evil is hiding in her castle

Waiting to turn my dream into a nightmare.

Spies caught me and brought me to a face I never wanted to see.

As she screamed “Off with her head!”

I made a few wishes before my last dying breath

I closed my eyes and saw that smile that’s been making my day.

I finally opened my eyes

Seeing that terrifying yet beautiful smile smiling at me

Belonging to the face I’ve been dreaming of

Then I realized the smile wasn’t for me

But it was for the sight he was seeing

The sight of a girl who was on her deathbed

Pleading for mercy to see the light once again.

Tears rolled down my face

And betrayal was breaking me

“This can’t be the way this is suppose to be!”

I started fighting against the chains that bounded me,

The chains that kept me from finding happiness

I screamed with all my might

Hoping to last another night.

I broke the chains

But I wasn’t free

Time grew endlessly

And everything started to blur

And I fell hard, losing my mind

I opened my eyes

Hearing people screaming

“Alice, Alice! Can you hear me?”

“Alice, Sweetheart, you’ve been dreaming.”
