Waiting

Who might never come
Because he chose a princess in distress instead
I'm not a princess

Maybe you weren't the one for me
But you helped me
In more ways than one
I wish it wasn't the end
But now it is time
For me to let go of these emotions
Holding me back
From finding my happily ever after.
