Maybe this is a dream.
Maybe nothing’s as it seems.
Maybe you’re a fake.
Maybe I’m not real.
Maybe this is a test.
Maybe this is all a lie.
How do I know what you say is true?
How do I know you’re going to keep your promises?
Maybe nightmares will swallow me up.
The things that haunt me in my dreams is my reality.
Maybe people can change.
Maybe I’m still the same.
Maybe life’s a test,
That I’m still studying for.
Maybe I shouldn’t keep on living in fear.\
Life’s not what it’s cracked up to be
But maybe I should jump
And take chances,
Living wild and free.
