Things are gonna get better (a note from God)

I woke up feeling the same

Like I'm way down to the ground

I feel so alone

I feel like no one cares

I hung with my friends

But they barley noticed I was there

Later I looked in the mirrior

And saw a face

And asked myself

What am I doing here?

Does anyone even care?

What is wrong with me?

I saw a note

On the ground

I picked it up and it said:

I know

Things are gonna get better

And I know

You shouldn't give up hope

Cuz you know things will always get better

It's just a temorary set-back

You won't let me down

You're going to make me proud

Because you know things are gonna get better

A new feeling washed over me

A new feeling I haven't felt

In a very, very long time

I felt peace

Deep within my soul

I felt new and whole

Because now I know

I know things are gonna get better

And I know I shouldn't give up hope

Cuz I know things will always get better

That it's just a temporary set-back

I won't let you down

I'm going to make you proud

Because I know things are gonna get better

No no one can keep me on the ground

Because I'm flying high in the sky

Because I know what I'm doing here.

Because I know that people do care

Because I know nothing is wrong with me

Because I know the note was from God

Because I know:

And I know I shouldn't give up hope
