Illicit Desire

Ariana's POV

"Oh my gosh! I'm so proud of you, sis! Ikaw na talaga!" Hiyaw ni Vanilla nang makalapit sa akin.

I was crowned Ms. Intramurals 2018 while Drey was the first runner-up. Naipanalo din namin ang talent portion. Masayang-masaya ang buong department, lalong-lalo na si Cherry na nagtiyagang magturo sa akin.

"I knew it! I know you could do it!" Sigaw pa ni Cherry.

Sa umpisa palang ay hindi na ako confident sa sarili ko dahil unang-una ay wala naman akong karanasan sa pagrampa sa entablado. Behind this award were Drey and Cherry who taught me everything.

"Magaling ka kasing magturo." Sagot ko.

"Naman!" She said proudly.

We took several pictures on the stage together with the crowned Mr. Intramurals which is from the engineering department.

"Hey, Riri. Congrats!" Lumapit sa akin si Alexis at niyakap ako. "Sabi ko na nga ba ikaw ang mananalo eh!"

"Thanks."

"I hope you haven't forgotten our deal?"

"I don't remember agreeing with anything." Pagbibiro ko.

Sasagot pa sana ito nang kalabitin ito ni Vanilla. "Hi, you're Alexis King right? Kapatid nga pala ako ni Ariana. I really like your commercials. Do you mind if we have a picture together?"

"Sure." Nakangiting sagot ni Alexis. Inabot naman ni Vanilla ang phone sa napipilitang si Qiro upang kuhanan sila ng litrato. Hindi naman lingid sa kaalaman ng kapatid ko na patay na patay ako dati kay Alexis and I've always thought she had a crush on him too. Well, Alexis has all the qualities that girls have ever wanted so it's not a surprise.

Pagkatapos ng pageant ay napagdesisyunan na gamitin ang perang napanalunan ko sa isang simpleng party. Ang natira ay ilalagay sa pondo ng department namin. Wala naman akong problema doon dahil hindi ko naman kailangan ng pera. Pumayag na din ako upang pasasalamat sa pagsuporta nila sa akin.

Sina Vanilla at Qiro ay bumalik na sa coffee shop samtalang si Alexis naman ay niyaya ng mga kaibigan kong sumama sa victory party. Ayoko na sanang sumama pa ngunit pinilit nila ako. Balak ko sanang hanapin si Jaxxon at kausapin ito.

"Ano ba, Ariana. We are celebrating your victory tapos wala ka?" Sambit ni Kayla.

"Come on, it's just for the night. We want you there, Ariana." Pamimilit pa ni Justin.

"Please, Ariana. The party will be meaningless without you. You don't have to treat me anymore, just go to the party." Dugtong ni Alexis na inakbayan ako.

"Okay, fine. Pero hindi ako magtatagal. I'll be leaving after an hour." Sa wakas ay pagpayag ko dahil wala na din naman akong magagawa.

"To the party it is then. Let's go!' Cherry exclaimed while everyone in the department screamed.

They ended up renting an exclusive bar to accomodate sixty people from the department. Everyone were busy drinking and dancing so I took it as a chance to go outside and call Jaxxon. I tried calling him for several times but he wasn't answering. I was about to do another attempt again when Cherry suddenly grabbed my arm and started dragging me back inside.

"There you are. I've been looking for you!" Masayang sambit nito hanggang sa makapasok muli kami.

"Hey everyone, I found her!" Announced Cherry and everyone screamed in cheers.

"Anong meron?" Tanong ko.

"Gusto nila ulit mapanood ang dance potion niyo ni Drey kanina." Bulong ni Cherry.
