Arrow and Speed
Ariana's POV
"Uhmm Jaxxon, why are we here?" Tanong ko kay Jaxxon na hawak ang kamay ko at hinihila ako papasok sa car racing arena, the same place where he lost consciousness before.
"Today you'll experience real adventure."
"I don't feel good about this." I said honestly, shaking my head as he continue to drag me inside where six cars where lined up in the starting line.
Napatigin naman sa amin lahat ang pitong lalaki na nakasuot ng jumpsuit at may hawak na mga helmet. One of them was Denver and I remembered another two from the first time I was here.
"You're late again, bro. We were about to start without you." Sambit ng isa.
"Alam ko namang hindi kayo mag-uumpisa ng wala ako." Sagot ni Jaxxon na hinila ako sa tabi niya at inakbayan. "It's because I have to drag my girl and force her to come with me."
"Naks naman! I thought you two broke up?" Asked another one with a chuckle.
"That'll never happen." Replied Jaxxon with a smirk.
"Hindi niyo ba nakita kung pano habulin nitong si Arrow si Ariana 'nung nakaraan? Galit na galit tuloy si Marshall nang biglang nawala ang kalaban niya." Natatawang sambit ni Denver.
"Marshall's demanding for a rematch, bro. You have to fight him."
Napatigil ako sa sinabi ng kaibigan nito. Nag-usap na kami ni Jaxxon tungkol dito at nangako siya sa akin na hindi na aapak pa sa ring ulit. We all waited for Jaxxon's reply me hoping that he'll stick to his promise
"No more fighting for me." He replied and pulled me closer to him.
"Ha? Bakit?" Gulat na tanong ng nga kaibigan nito.
Sinagot naman sila ni Jaxxon habang nakatitig sa akin. "Because I'd rather quit fighting than loose the most important person in my life."
My heart jumped in happiness as I tried to hide my smile by looking on the opposite direction as his friends all exclaimed in surprise.
"Whoa! Damn! You don't sound like Arrow."
"You're so cheesy, bro."
"Ariana what did you do to him?"
"I like the old Arrow better."
Hinablot ni Jaxxon ang hawak na helmet ng isa sa mga kaibigan niya at sinapak ito sa tiyan ni Denver.
"Ow!" Denver crunched his nosed while clutching his stomach and my eyes widened at what Jaxxon did. Papagalitan ko aana si Jaxxon nang nagtawanan ang nga kaibigan niya. Napagtanto ko naman na normal lang siguro ang ganitong biruan sa kanila.
"Now that's the Arrow we all know." Said the other one while laughing.
"Wear this." Hinarap ako ni Jaxxon at inabot sa akin ang hawak na helmet pero hindi ko ito tinaggap.
"Bakit kailangan kong isuot to?" Tanong ko na napaatras. Parang alam ko na ang gagawin nito.
"Because you are coming in with me in that car." He replied, pointing at a familiar sports car.
My eyes widened when I realized what he was planning to do.
"Hindi ba pwedeng dito nalang ako? I will cheer for you." Suhesyon ko.
"Ariana, I promise. You'll not regret it."
"No. Kung mag-drive ka nga ng normal na kotse, inaatake na ako sa puso sa sobrabg bilis mo, iyan pa kaya?"
