Just imagine the marauders reading the Harry Potter series.
They'd all like the third year. (Except maybe Peter)
James and Sirius would burn Half-Blood Prince.
Lupin would get mad at them for destroying a book.
Sirius would like Order of the Pheonix until the end.
They'd all laugh in the fourth year when Harry Ron and Hermione have to say Snuffles instead of Sirius.
Sirius would pretend like he didn't like them and pretend to not read them but really he would be using Lumos under a blanket at night to read them and would secretly love them.
They would probably cry during the Battle of Hogwarts.
And not admit it.
Why didn't we open a joke shop?
James would be annoyed that his son named his kid after Snape.
Lupin would have started reading it first.
They would have gone to the movie premieres as themselves.
They'd want a prequel.
They would love the books like we love them.
