106: sleepy

Request:I have an idea/ request, the reader is suffering insomnia and is really stressed. Sebastian (her best friend) reads to her in Romanian and it sends her to sleep (unintentionally). Can it have a fluffy ending where he mumbles he loves her or how much she means to him.

After yet another night of tossing and turning in bed, you decide to call your best friend for a little help. 

"Sebby," you yawn. "I can't sleep." 

"Is everything okay?" he asks. 

He doesn't know about your insomnia, you didn't think it was that important to tell him. 

"Yeah, I just couldn't sleep... I didn't mean to wake you up.."

"No, no, it's fine, (y/nn). I'll be over in a few minutes," he says, and then hangs up.

You lay your phone on your bedside table and push yourself out of the bed. You go into your living room, and sit down on the couch and turn the TV on. 

A little bit later, you hear your front door unlock. 

You go to speak to Sebastian, but a yawn escapes instead. 

"Jeez, (y/nn). How long has it been since you last slept?" he asks.

You shrug. Which, honestly, you couldn't remember. It's been a while, but it usually doesn't bother you.

Sebastian comes over and sits next to you. 

"Why haven't you been sleeping?" 

You sigh, "I have insomnia. Since I started high school, I guess. I was going through a dark time, and it just kind of stuck."

Sebastian doesn't question anything. He knows what you have been going through. 

"Come here," he says, motioning for you to lay your head on his lap. He runs his fingers through your hair and starts speaking in Romanian. 

As he speaks, he's thanking god that you can't understand what he's saying.

"Prima dată când te-am cunoscut, m-am îndrăgostit. Eram așa de frică să vă spun, dar sunt gata acum. Te iubesc. Mai mult pe care o vei cunoaște vreodată." he speaks slowly, as if he's trying to come up with the right words to say. (translation: The first time I met you, I fell in love. I was so scared to tell you, but I am ready now. I love you. More that you will ever know.)

What he doesn't know is that you've already fallen asleep. 

When he realizes it, he smiles, his fingers still playing with your hair.

"I love you, (y/n)."
