50: breakups suck

Falling to the floor, your sobs are uncontrollable. Breakups suck. But this one hit something inside of you that you didn't know existed. It was like your heart was breaking, and your brain was trying to fix it. It was ripping apart, but then getting immediately sewed back up within seconds.

You had been dating this person for almost 3 years, and you were head over heels for them. It was like you could never be separated. Until you caught them in bed with someone else.

"(y/n)?" there's a knock at the bathroom door. The door opens and you curse yourself for forgetting to lock it.

"Hey, you okay?"

"Yes, Bucky. I'm-I'm fine." you say, lying through your teeth.

"Well, you don't seem fine.."

You groan. "Look... really, really, really, I'm okay. Just go away, please?"

"...I know I may not be the someone you want to talk to, but I-I can't walk away with you like this." he says, kneeling down next to you.

You roll your eyes, tears still falling down your face.

You and Bucky have never seen eye to eye, but you never really had a reason for it. It might be because you were almost killed in Washington DC when the Winter Solider was around. But you couldn't hold that against him... He was being brain washed and had no control over his own body.

"Thanks, I guess.." you say after a few minutes. It's nice to have someone with you, even if you aren't the best of friends.

He stands up, and holds out his hand for you to take. Once he helps you up, you wrap your arms around him.

You feel his body stiffen from the sudden show of affection. After a couple moments, he relaxes and wraps his arms around you as well.

"I know we aren't really good friends and all, but maybe we can go get some coffee sometime?" Bucky asks you.

You smile, wiping your eyes. "Yeah, that would be nice, Bucky..."

This was actually nice to write :) I actually like this imagine for once.
