Jup Zex POV

I slowed down my jog towards my leader's quarters and leaned against the wall. My ragged breathing turned into a soft whisper but my heart beat still beat through my chest. I still feel the joyfulness of seeing her after all these hellish years of feeling Utan's wrath. Then again I guess I wasn't the only one who truly missed her seeing as how Xiha hasn't left lab unless it's to report to the San' Shyuum. He must have truly had a stronger bond to her compared to what he showed us.

I shook my head and chuckled to myself ridding the thoughts from my head, "no point being a sap about the past now that we will be finding her soon." I pushed myself off the wall and walked further down through the hallway.

After informing my leader...Utan' Saman... About (Y/n) survival throughout the years his first reaction was the one thing I was hoping wouldn't happen.

He froze at the news then slowly turned towards me his eyes baring into every single inch of my soul. His mandibles twitched for a second before he moved in a flash grabbing me by my throat and slamming me against the wall, "I will not tolerate your lies Kig-Yar! You either die from your words or grovel on the ground and apologize." He dropped me on the ground and took a few steps back with his hand on the handle of the sword.

I coughed rubbing my throat and glaring at him, "I'm not lying about her." Although my legs felt weak I stood up against Utan's glare and met his gaze. "She is still alive and brainwashed by the humans and demons!" Instantly I could tell he wasn't going to believe me so I got desperate. "We both saw her get taken away by those demons ourselves! And you know as much as I that how humans care more about their kind than any other," I said with disgust to try and further my point. "And you also said it yourself, humans will never betray each other so why not teach one our ways." By the end of my little speech his grip on the handle tighten but his eyes were calculating.

"I will further review this information to see if your source is-" another voice cut through Utan's and forced him to be still. I recognized the voice instantly and turned towards Xiha whose walking into the room with his hands behind his back.

"There is nothing more for you to review Utan' Saman. I strongly believe that (Y/n) is still alive and if her most trusted ally is confirming her alive then we must take action." Xiha walked up towards Utan and placed his hand on his shoulder, "you must learn to accept others proposition again. Ever since you failed to protect her you've been denying your leadership role but now is the time you reclaim it back warrior." He walked back over to the door and stopped just before he left, "organize a phantom and take with you the strongest Sangheili and the keenest Kig-yar. I will attend with you to make sure she is brought back alive and the demons who captured her dead." He left the room with the door closing.

I stared at the door wide eyed for a second then chuckled darkly, "those humans are going to feel the power of a father's wrath now." I left the room smirking at the chaos that she has ensured.

(Y/n) POV

I was hanging on top of the demon's shoulder tied up with a rag in my mouth. In case your wondering how I went from kicking ass to being tied up. It's a funny little story but I'll just summarize it for y'all. So after kicking Jonah's ass, Jacob decided to try and protect his big brother by attempting to tackle me. I let him have his fun and fell to the ground but instantly flipped us over until I pinned him down using my knee on his stomach. Jonah then tackled me from behind making me lose my concentration and fall over. I head butt him hard enough to cause his lip to bleed then push him off but the demon got tired of this and pinned me down. Like any sane person I tried to fight but he locked up my armor then tied up my limbs. And here I am now at the mercy of these assholes.
