[FINALE] Part 35: Promises

Before reading this chapter, I recommend putting some sad music on! I put the songs Let Go, Butterfly and The Truth Untold by BTS on and it certainly made me feel more miserable while reading this. So be prepared!

It has been a 3 weeks since Jin left. We thankfully stay in contact by sending letters to each other. But it's still not the same. I miss seeing him. I miss hearing his voice. I miss everything about him. I have gotten over my fever and I have been going out everyday to hang out with friends.

I came back to my apartment after doing some grocery shopping. I flopped onto my bed and closed my eyes. Memories started filling my head.

We eventually arrive at a house. It was an average size but it was quite modern. Taehyung opened the door into the house.

"Guys! We have a guest!" He shouted as he hung his coat up.

Almost instantaneously, a head poked out from around the corner.

"Y/N, this is Kim Seokjin but you can just call him Jin," Taehyung told me.

"Jin, this is Y/N," Taehyung told Jin.

"Nice to meet you Y/N!" Jin said with a cheeky smile.

After a while, I had to go home since I had plans with the girls.

"Hey Guys, I got to go since I have plans with Scarlet and Lily," I told them.

"Aww Okay," Hoseok said.

"We'll see you later then!" Namjoon said.

So I walked out the door and went to Taehyung's car (since I got my license a tiny bit ago) but before I entered it I heard a voice call me.

"Hey Y/N!"

It was Jin.

"Oh hi again Jin!" I said.

"And umm.. Before you go...." He said shyly

"Yeah?" I asked.

He leaned in and softly kissed my cheek. Suddenly, butterflies filled my stomach as soon as I realised what he did. There was an awkward silence between us as we both blushed uncontrollably.

"Anyways, you better go," he said while walking inside.

"Anyways, I better get going," Jin told me as he grabbed his stuff.

"Oh okay," I said with a sad smile.

"Don't worry, I'll see you tomorrow!" He told me as he patted my head.

I start opening the door for Jin.

"Hey Y/N..." He said shyly.

He leaned in and softly kissed me. I blushed and let go of the door handle. He slowly took his lips off mine and opened the door.

"I'll see you tomorrow Y/N," He said

We finished our food and drinks and decided it was time to go home. So we both exit the restaurant.

"Hey Y/N..." Jin said shyly.

"Hmm?"

"I have one last question to ask," Jin said.
