'Where are you'
'Woman! You best get back to the party'
'Come on, Cyan. Answer me.'
Five minutes later;
'Are you ok?'
'OK, I'm starting to worry'
'Cyan??!!!'
Just as I am typing a response, I get a call from her. I answer the second it pops up.
"Cyan?! Oh my god Cyan thank god!! Are you ok? Where are you? What happened?" Immediately I start to feel guilty for leaving without letting her know.
"Hi! Yes I am alright. Did you leave my phone at my doorstep by any chance?"
"No?" She sounds confused, "What do you mean? Did you lose your phone?!" She raises her voice, the music in the background making it hard to hear her.
"It's a long story, don't worry about it." I bite my lip, my mind going at a mile a minute wondering who else could have known. I feel a chill go down my spine, my brain already imagining the worst.
"Where are you? Did you leave with Luca after the show?" I hear her suggestive tone and roll my eyes, only noticing she can't see me a second later so I answer.
"Tchh, no way! I went home after. I was feeling tired.." I trail off when I hear someone calling out to her.
"Ethan? Yes-no! I'm talking to Cyan!" I hear her laugh and she comes back on the line a second later, "We talk tomorrow then Cyan? I'll meet you at your house at 10 am! Bring your bikini!!" Before I can answer she hangs up and I'm left looking at my phone dumbfounded.
Putting my phone back on the nightstand I lay my head on my fluffy pillow. Just as I'm drifting off I hear my phone ding. Instead of looking at it to see who messaged me, I drift off to sleep.

My eyes open to early morning rays shining through the window. Squinting, I sit up on my bed and stretch my arms out, taking in the pink and purple light illuminating my room. I look at the clock, it reads 6:30 am.
Well, no use trying to go back to sleep.
The green light flashing on my phone catches my attention. Shifting to the side of the bed, I pick my phone up and furrow my eyebrows when I see the text from an 'unknown number' popping up on my screen.
I unlock my phone to see a simple text; 'Great performance tonight, you left your phone behind though.'
My eyebrows furrow in confusion, wondering who this person could be and how they got my number. I decide there is only one way to find out,
'Thank you for returning my phone but...who are you? And how did you know where I live? It's kind of creepy..' I press send before I can change my mind.
Now fully awake, I put my Grey leggings on with my favorite black baggy Jumper. Deciding to go barefoot for a walk along the shore - I grab my camera, my keys and my phone before heading out.
The rays of sun are peeking on the horizon, its orange tendrils providing just enough light for the beach to be visible. The water sparkles under the first rays of light, it's early blue hue decorated by the pink, orange and red highlights originating from the sun. Bringing the camera up to my face I adjust the scope and snap a picture of the beautiful empty beach. Just then, a small grey bird lands on the seaweed by the shore and I adjust my camera to get a close shot. I hear a door close up by my house and jump in surprise, scaring the bird away in the process. I huff in frustration knowing I missed the shot. Hooking the camera around my neck, I begin my walk down the beach with the steady thud of the camera hitting my tummy as I walk.
