I'm so glad I was able to go to Warped this year mostly because my friend Luke is on Warped filming for his YouTube channel and because I get to see my favourite bands. As Luke and I walk around the grounds we soon hear someone say "Luke!" We turn around to see Patty Walters, he walks over to Luke and pulls him into a hug, Luke moves away and says "I was hoping I'd run into you. Oh you two haven't met, Y/N this is my good friend Patty, Patty this is Y/N" I smile and say "hey, I love your music" he smiles and says "thanks, it's nice to meet you" I nod and say "it's nice to meet you too" Patty looks at the time and says "I've gotta get ready to go onstage so maybe after the set we could all hang out" we nod and Luke says "we'll be watching so we'll meet you at the side stage" he nods and says "great" he looks at me and says "I hope you enjoy the show" before walking over to the stage, Luke looks at me and says "so you already know of Patty hmm" I smile and say "yeah, I've been following his music for a few years now" he nods and says "well lets walk over to the crowd so we can get a good spot" I nod and we start walking. A few minutes later As It Is come onto the stage, Luke and I made it a few rows back from the stage so we have a good view, Patty smiles at the crowd and says "how are you all doing, we're As It Is" they start the set, Luke and I sing along to all the songs being the fangirls that we are. After an hour they finish the set and walk off stage, I follow Luke through the crowd to the side stage. After a few minutes we get through the crowd and walk over to Patty, I smile and say "you guys we're amazing!" He smiles and says "thanks, I'm glad you enjoyed the show, lets go to a quiet area so we can hang out" Luke and I follow Patty until we find a quiet place away from the stages and people, we sit on the grass, Patty looks over at me and asks "so, how long have you been a like our music?" I think for a second before saying "it's been a few years now, I love the new album by the way" he smiles and says "thanks". We all talk for a few hours until it gets dark, I sigh and say "well I guess I should get going, I have an hour drive and I dont wanna get home too late" they nod and Luke says "it was nice to see you for a bit once I get back in town we need to catch up on the time we've missed" I nod and say "definitely" Patty looks over at Luke and says something I can't make out before Luke stands up and walks off, I look at Patty as he says "Y/N do you think I could get your number? I really like you and I'd love to hang out with you after this tour" I nod and say "yeah sure, I feel the same way" he smiles and passes me his phone, I put my number in it and hand it back to him before getting up, Patty pulls me into a hug and says "I'm glad I ran into Luke today" I smile and say "yeah me too" he laughs and says "I'll message you, yeah" I nod as he walks away, Luke soon walks back over to me and says "looks like you guys got along well" I roll my eyes and say "oh, shut up"  he laughs and pulls me into a hug, I move away after a few seconds and say "bye Luke" he smiles and says "bye Y/N, see you in a few weeks" I nod before walking to my car and begin driving home.
