"Aubree.." Malumanay na pagtawag ni Arum sa pangalan ng dalaga. "Do you want to try this dish?" Ngunit hindi kumikibo si Aubree habang nakatingin sa malayo. "Aubree.." They are currently on a dinner date but Arum noticed that his fiance seems really quiet and hasn't said anything since they arrived at the restaurant. "Are you listening?"

Slowly, Aubree shifted her undivided attention to Arum and stared hard at him deeply. She feels really guilty dahil naglilihim sya sa nobyo. In their one year relationship, Aubree still doesn't have a heart to tell him everything-as in everything. It's not that she is scared for people to know about her supposedly promising romance with Cassandra ngunit hanggat maari, hanggat kaya ay ayaw nyang masaktan si Arum after all what he did for her.

Umayos si Aubree ng upo at pilit na ngumiti. "Mm, what is it again?"

"If you want to try this certain dish." Dahan dahan ibinaba ni Arum ang menu with a slight frown on his face. "Are you okay though? You seems..."

"Yeah." Aubree tried to sound lively. "I'm perfect, may bigla lang ako naisip-naalala."

Nacurious si Arum kung ano ang nasa isip ng dalaga. Gustuhin man nyang bigyan ng personal privacy si Aubree ngunit napapansin nya lately na laging malalim ang iniisip ng dalaga. "Mind sharing with me?"

Walang iba na laman ang utak ni Aubree these past few days ay kundi si Cassandra. No matter how much she denied the thought of her but the Ice Queen's voice and begging haunted in her sleep.

"May gumugulo ba sayo?" Patuloy na pag-uusisa ni Arum. "Or baka may problema ka na hindi sinasabi sakin?"

At first hindi nakakibo si Aubree dahil ramdam nya ang pag-aalala sa boses nito. "No Arum." Her eyes were trying to hide what she really feel. "Wala akong problema, pagod lang din ako sa trabaho today."

But by hearing Aubree's voice convince him more that something is really bothering her. Walang salita na hinawakan ni Arum ang malambot na kamay ni Aubree na nakapatong sa ibabaw ng lamesa. "You know.." They stared at each other for a little while. "Pwede mo sabihin ang lahat, kahit ano pa yan Aubree. I will listen, i won't judge and i promise to understand you as much i can."

Aubree was tempted to speak her heart out but then she swallowed everything down hard. Alam nya na sa oras na ibuka nya ang kanyang bibig, she won't be able to stop, maraming mababago at may taong masasaktan. "That's so sweet of you babe pero okay lang talaga ako. I was also thinking about our wedding on Sunday."

Pinagpawisan si Arum and his mind goes crazy. "Are you not excited?" Daig nya pa ang mga imbestigador sa pagaanalyze ng sitwasyon. "Wait-are you having a second thought of marrying me maybe?"

Arum loves Aubree too much and thought of losing her will hurt him a lot. Gagawin nya ang lahat para sa dalaga kahit na ano basta maging masaya lang ito.

Aubree's lips slightly parted ways sa narinig nya. "Arum.."

Umiling si Arum. "Just yes or no Aubree."

She stared at him dumbfounded. "What kind of question is that?"

Huminga ang lalaki ng malalim. "You know i love you Aubree, so much." Pinisil nya ang kamay ng dalaga without breaking eye contact to each other. "I would do anything for you, as in everything-Gusto ko maging masaya ka..." A sad smile drew across his lips. "Even if it's not including me."

"Stop it." Agad na pagpigil ni Aubree. "Please don't say that. I won't leave you okay Arum because..." Huminga ng malalim sya ng malalim at napatingin sa apoy ng kandila na nasa harapan nya. "I chose to be with you no matter what happens."

Arum's face softened and completely contented sa sinabi ni Aubree. "You know I would give you any gift Aubree." Buong pagsinta nya hinawakan ang kamay ng dalaga. "I'd give you love and laughter, a peaceful heart." Ngunit lalo lang naguilty si Aubree dahil pinipilit nya tinatama ang isang bagay na hindi dapat. "A special dream and joy forever after." Hinagkan nya ang kamay ng dalaga. "Thank you for letting me do so.
