Bzzz. Bzzz. Bzzz.

"Ugh". I said as I turned my phone over.

"What's wrong Emily?" Demi asked.

"Alex has been messaging me nonstop and it is driving me crazy."

"It's because he cares about you."

"Alex shmazex. This is a major turn off."

Demi jokingly shook her head at me.

"Have you been responding?"

"No.  Who do you think I am? A responder?"

"You are really bad at smack talk." Demi said.

"Whatever", I said as I shoved past her.

"Where are you going?"

"Anywhere that's not here."

"Okay, come back in an hour."

"Whatever mom."

I slammed the hotel door behind me.

"I am so sorry." I heard a familiar voice say.

I looked up from my phone. Alex. Of course.

"Quit freaking texting me."

"What?"

"I gave you my number so you could text me once or twice, not all the damn time."

"Oh, sorry." He looked down.

"Real, cute." I smirked and walked away.

Bzzz. Bzzz.

Of course.

I swiped the screen to unlock my phone.

I am really sorry. He messaged me.

If you were really sorry, you'd quit messaging me. I honestly hate that. I replied.

I went down to the lobby and plopped down in a chair, opening up a good book. Divergent  to be exact.

"Oh, hey. Fancy seeing you here." Alex said as he sat in the chair across from me.

"Are you stalking me?"

"Of course not. This is my hang out place." He replied.

"The lobby. The lobby is your hang out place?"

"Yup."

"Do you know how stupid that sounds."

He just stared at me blankly.

"You're obsessed." I shook my head at him and headed back up to my hotel room.

"You're back?" Demi, or mom, said.

"I guess I am."

"Everything okay?"

"No, Alex is fucking obsessed with me. First, I bump into him outside of our hotel room. Next, he starts texting me again. Apologizing, but still texting me, even after I told him that I absolutely despise texting all day. Lastly, I somehow manage to see him down in the lobby and he somehow manages to accidentally sit across from me. I can't believe I thought he was a good guy. He's such a crazy stalker."

"Or he really likes you." Demi winked at me.

"Would you quit with that? He's getting on my last nerve."

I went into my room and started throwing clothes in my bag.

"What are you doing?" Demi asked.

"We're leaving today, right?"

"Yeah."

"Then, let's go." I said as I picked up my fully packed bag.

"Emily."

"Oh no."

"What?" She asked.

"You said my name before the sentence which usually means you're about to disappoint me."

"It's just that I have another meeting before we go."

"Great."

I continued to lug my bag.

"Emily, honey, didn't you hear me?"

"Of course. I'm going with you and I am getting the hell out of this hotel."

"So many curse words for an eleven year old." She put her head in her hands.

"So? You probably cursed at least this much when you were my age, plus curse words are my favorite kind of words."

Demi shook her head at me.

Just let me pack my stuff first, then we'll head out.

I nodded my head and sat down on the living room couch.

"Alright, let's go." Demi said as she came in to the living room.

I jolted up off the couch and grabbed my bag.

"Did you call our driver?"

"No, I'm just going to check out and we'll take our own vehicle."

"Whatever."

I "patiently" waited in the lobby as Demi checked us out, praying I wouldn't run into Alex again. Crazy, just yesterday I was in love with him. Today, I want to strangle him, not literally.

"You ready?" Demi walked over to me.

"I was born ready?"

We headed to our vehicle and went to this "important" meeting. I waited in the lobby as Demi talked to whomever, probably about her career. That's what most of her meeting are about, normally about her talking to some guys about when her next tour is or when her next song is being released. Damn, she's busy, but damn I want out of here. I so, just want to go back home.

"Alright, let's go." Demi said, what felt like 10 hours later.

We headed out to her vehicle and drove to the airport.

I  can not bare to be here any longer. Thank goodness we're leaving. Arizona is now officially filled with pain...

"Adios Arizona." I said as the plain lifted off the ground.

Demi quietly chuckled.
