Emily's POV:

"Morning, Emily. How was your nap?" Demi asked as I walked passed her and sat on the couch.

"Fine. Thanks for your concern."

She looked at me, sighed, then looked away.

"I'm sorry if I'm not perfect." I said, rudely.

"Emily, I don't expect you to be perfect, but you need to cool it with the attitude."

"Whatever." I said and turned the TV on to Criminal Minds.

She came over and turned it to Disney instead.

"What? I'm not watching fucking Disney!?!?" I half-yelled.

"You don't have to, but I don't want you watching criminal shows. It's not good for you."

"What do you mean it's not good for me?" I folded my arms.

"It's bad for your mind. It can put you in a depressive state."

"Yeah, sure it can." I turned back to Criminal Minds.

I mean, what does she know anyways?

She turned the TV off and said "alright, why don't you come help me cook?"

"Uhh... no, thanks." I rolled my eyes and went back to our room. I then slammed the door, said a loud "ugh" and flopped on my bed.

Demi's POV:

"Emily!" I angrily cut up carrots, then went to our room.

Her head was buried in her pillows while she was quietly sobbing.

I sat beside her on the bed.

"Go away."

"Honey, I am only trying to help you."

"Well, you're doing a terrible job. Go away."

I sighed and walked out.

I got back to chopping vegetables and preparing the soup.

15 minutes later-------------------------------------------------------------------

I knocked on our bedroom door.

"I said to go away!" I got the pillow that Emily threw the moment I opened the door.

"Dinner's ready. Wash up. Use the restroom if you need to, cause you won't be using the restroom for a while. You have five minutes."

Emily sighed loudly.

I walked out and dipped us each a bowl of soup. I dipped up another bowl of soup and brought it to Ashley. "Are you hungry?" I asked her as I handed her the bowl of soup with a smile on my face. "Yes, thank you." She said. I smiled at her. She then said "we will be in Phoenix in about an hour. "Awesome, thanks." She smiled at me.

"You made it out." I said to Emily as I saw her sitting at the table.

"Yeah."

"It's good. Try it." I sat the bowl of soup in front of her.

She smiled at me and said "you're cooking? No thanks."

"Emily. It's not an option, try it. It's good, besides it's mostly vegetables, can't screw that up."  I said.

"You'd be surprised." She retorted.

"Eat or I'm going to feed you." I smiled at her.

She slowly put a bite into her mouth.

"So, what do you think?" I asked her.

"Not bad, for you."

"For you I'd do anything."

She gave a slight giggle.

"I love you Emily."

"I love you too."

There was a slight pause, then she said "can I be honest with you?"

"Of course." I told her.

"This is really hard for me. Eating, I mean."

"Can I be honest with you?" I asked Emily.

"We're here." Ashley came out to tell us.

"Thanks, we'll be out in a minute." I told Ashley.

She smiled and walked away.

"I know." I told Emily.

I grabbed her hand while she finished eating each bite, some taking longer than others.

After she finished, she said "I have to go to bathroom."

I looked her in the eyes and said "I want you to stay with me."

We grabbed our bags and went inside the Slip John Hotel. I know, not a very good name, but hey, I'm not Queen of naming hotels. Only music.

We checked in and went up to our room. Room 514. Ashley is staying right across from us, in room 515.

"This is a pretty nice hotel." Emily said.

"I know. This is going to be life for the next three days. Well that and constant rehearsing."

"Of course."
