It's been 3 days since we moved into the apartment.
3 days since Lai came back home.
3 days since I last talked to Jah.
Every time I try to call him, it goes straight to voicemail. Every time I mention him to ski, he starts stuttering a lot and acting differently. I try to put it aside and focus on me but I feel as if there's something going on that I don't know like they're both hiding something from me.
"Mani?" Lai sang into my ear, breaking me out of my thoughts. She rubbed her stomach which was starting to show, even if it's just a little bump. "Yeah?" I look up at her with a forced smile. "You think we're done with the apartment?" I look around the apartment, proud of how far along it came within 3 days. (Kitchen)
