Chapter 5: Stupid Side Kicks

Melody P.O.V

I went for Thor he was the most challenging Avenger there was once he's down the others will be a piece of cake.

But there was no fight he immediately surrendered so I took that to my advantage.

I grabbed him by his hair and put a knife at his throat making everyone stop fighting.

"We came for one thing." I say making everyone look at me and not Apollo.

"We want Sally....where is she?" Apollo demands.

"And why would we tell you." Natasha says crossing her arms.

Before I could even respond Apollo had shot an arrow into the assassins thigh making her fall onto her knee's In pain.

"We don't want to hurt you....but I want my mom back so I'm going to ask one more time...where is my mom?" I say between gritted teeth.

"She's in the 3rd interrogation room." Thor whispers to me.

"Apollo." I say waving him over. "I know where she is."

He rushes to my side with his bow and arrow still trained on everyone.

"Where is she?" He ask

"She's in interrogation room 3."

He grabs my hand and we reappear outside the interrogation room. I look through the little window on the door and she was there handcuffed to a table.

We opened the door and I ran to her side.

"Mom are you ok?" I ask as me and Apollo check her for injuries.

"Yeah I'm fine I'm just tired." She says.

"Then let's get you home Miss. Jackson." Apollo says taking me and her hand.

We arrived in her bedroom and she gave us both a quick hug before laying down.

I lead Apollo to the kitchen and made us hot chocolate before pulling him into a hug.

"Thank you so much Apollo." I say as a tear rolls down my face.

"It's the least I can do. You helped save my sister." He says after taking a sip from his glass.

"What do we do? We can't keep her here."

"We can make her a safe house and protect it with magic so they'll never find her." He suggest.

"When do we start." I ask.

"In the morning it's getting late you can protect her tonight. Just call me if you need me." He says walking to the front door.

Once he's gone I sit on the kitchen counter listening for anything that sounds out of the ordinary.

When I hear nothing I go sit on my own bed until I eventually fall asleep.

Natasha

"We need to find her." I yell at the group.

Her stupid side kick shot me in the leg with an arrow. To say I'm pissed is an understatement.

"Well what do you suggest?" Tony yells back. "We take someone important she brings someone with her. We stalk her and she goes into hiding for weeks at a time."

"Your dealing with something you don't understand." Thor says leaning back in his chair.

"Then help us understand." I demand.

"She's obviously a Goddess and the man with her was Apollo Greek God of the sun and other things like archery medicine among other things." He says.

"Then how do you beat an all powerful immortal God?" Parker ask.

"A mortal can't." Thor says rolling his eyes.

"Then what the hell do we do?" Bucky ask. "S.H.I.E.L.D wants her they consider her a treat."

"Apparently there's only one thing we can do." Bruce says.

"And what's that?" I ask.

"We wait. She'll show back up and when she does we'll be ready." Bruce says.

"All who agrees with Bruce?"

Everyone including me raises their hand it was the only option we had and nobody could think of anything better.
