This is ME

I'm on my way to school riding my black Audi, as usual wearing my school uniform that I hated. But I can't do something coz my dad warned me if I disobey another school policy I will be grounded for good at ipapadala na daw ako sa probinsya ng lolo ko for months. Kaya, nagpapa-good shot muna ako.

"Mang George, dito na lang po ako sa harap ng gate. Dumiretso ka na sa parking." Na-sight ko na kasi ang magpapa-ganda ng araw ko.

Bumaba ako ng car and headed straight to my target.

Standing in front of the gate is Michael Oliver Yang. My ultimate crush for the longest time. He holds campaign materials and distributing it to each student coming in the school. He is running for president in our student council.

"Hi Michael. Ang sipag natin sa campaign. Baka naman runaway winner ka na nyan over Blake."

Ngumiti siya. Such a sight. Lumabas pa ang two cute dimples niya.

"Sana nga. Mahirap kasing kalaban si Blake. Marami siyang followers."

Nakakatuwa at pinapansin na niya ako ngayon. Mula freshmen up to junior high ay napakailap niya sa kin.

"Don't worry, tutulungan kita for the campaign. My friends and I planned on something to make you be more famous." All smiles kong sabi. I actually had something in my mind to help him. I just need to inform Casey and the gang for the implementation.

"Need to distribute more sa kabila." Sabi niya and headed to the north gate.

Hay Michael! Kailan ko kaya makukuha ang buong atensyon mo?

I went inside. As usual, glances is on mo again. May natutuwa, may naiinis at ang iba walang pakialam.

"Good morning Lorraine." Bati ng guy na nakasalubong ko. I think he's the star player ng soccer team. But who cares, I love Michael more.

"Good morning din." I don't want to be branded as suplada to the boys.

"Hi Lorraine. Ang ganda ng hairstyle mo today." Bati naman ni Andi. Ang competitor niya sa pagiging valedictorian.

I headed straight to our tambayan of the elites sa second floor ng main building.

"You're almost late." Salubong ni Mildred sa akin.

"I'm not."

"Give me the layout." Referring to the "Operation Michael Yang for President" plan.

"Loraine, do we really need to do this?" I sensed some disgust sa tanong ni Jobel.

"Malapit na ang exams and we still have projects sa theater at drama club. May school paper ka pa at may audition pa tayo sa play."

"Bel, I need to do this for the love of my life." Ibinaba ko ang mga gamit sa mesa.

"I'm sorry, but I'm too preoccupied in my classes and getting college of course."

"What about Casey?"

"She said she'll help whenever may time siya kasi may practice pa siya for her ballet recital."

"What? You two will not support me for this project?" Iritadong tanong ko.

"O, andyan naman si Jake at Dennis. Jake is good in drawing. He can help you. Si Dennis naman tambay lang yan." Nakita kong papasok ang dalawang ka-tropang guys.

"You girls won't support me!"

"I'll try. But not too much."

"Ugh... how can you do this to me?" Sigaw ko sa loob ng room.

Napatingin sa kin sina Dennis at Jake.

"What's the problem pretty Lorraine?" Tanong ni Jake nang lapitan niya ako sa couch.

"Stay away from me."

"Okay, I'm backing-out." Umurong naman siya at itinaas pa ang kamay sa pagsuko.

"Hey Jake, let's go out and shit some girls." Baling ni Dennis kay Jake.

"What? I'm sorry my assignment pa ako sa Physics. Hindi ko pa natatapos." Binubuksan na niya ang backpack bag at nilabas ang mga gamit.

OMG! I forgot my assignment.

"Jakey."

"What?" Busy na siya sa pag-browse sa Ipad.

"SOS?"

Sandaling tumitig ang mata nitong nakakulong sa nerdy eye glasses at inabot sa kin ang kanyang notebook.

"Thanks."

Thank God we have Jake in the group. Magaling siya sa science at math. Kaya nga siya ang dependable resource namin ng assignment pagdating sa subject na iyon. But then he has this weird and annoying appearance na nakasanayan ko na rin over the years na magkaklase kami.

While copying the answers, a red bulb spark into her mind on how to get Michael's attention.

But to my dismay, upon revealing the idea, I am alone in the room.

Bwisit na mga friends ko. Humanda kayo sa akin for not supporting me.
