Part 21

Days went by in which Jimin and Taehyung wouldn't meet. Taehyung's job had become extremely busy and he would always work until late.
What never changed was the fact that not half an hour would pass without them receiving a text from the other..
They were too dependent of that, and the distance was just unbearable

Jimin:
are you still working?

Taehyung:
yeah.. I'm about to go home, is late

Jimin:
you must be so tired😞
you need to rest

Taehyung:
yeah but
the sooner I finish the sooner we'll be able to meet again
I miss you

Jimin:
of course you do lol
..I miss you too, Tae
a lot💜

Taehyung:
you know? I was trying to be sweet 😂

Jimin:
I know 😅

Taehyung:
I gotta go, i'm about to drive home now

Jimin:
please let me know when you get there?💖

Taehyung:
of course❤️

Jimin giggled staring at his phone.
He missed Taehyung.. It had been more than a week already, and although they were always on the phone he was dying to feel his warmth again.
He had been also wandering about the "visit" to his workplace
Maybe Tae had found the place and did go asling for him?
But if that was the case, he didn't want to ruin the surprise, so he decided not to mention it.

Almost an hour later there was still no word of Taehyung
"That's odd, he usually doesn't take more than twenty minutes to get home...
is he okay?"

He kept fidgeting, waiting for a text.. or a call

Jimin:
Tae did you get home?

Jimin:
are you okay?

Jimin:
Taehyung i'm getting worried..

What could he do? Taehyung didn't reply to his texts.. nor his calls
He didn't have a car he could drive.. and then an idea came to his mind.. Sui!
He was about to dial his phone when there was a knock on his door..

It was passed midnight, who could possibly be? But he wasn't thinking straight and just opened the door at once..

"Taehyung?!"

"Hi" he said wearing the biggest grin

Jimin was so shook he pulled Taehyung's hand and hugged him tight, leaving the boy speechless
"What are you doing here? Why didn't you take my calls?! I was worried!!" he shouted, burying his face in Taehyung's chest

"I'm sorry, Jiminie" he said tightening his arms around Jimin's body
"I was about to head home but then decided I couldn't take it anymore. I wanted to see you.
tried to answer the phone but it slipped under the seat and I was driving.
I missed you, so bad.." he planted a sweet kiss on Jimin's neck
"I'm sorry I made you worry"

Jimin was at a loss for words
Not only he was relieved that Taehyung was safe, but he knew Tae was exhausted.. and he still had driven all the way to his place just to see him

Taehyung picked him up and walked towards the bedroom and directly to the bed.
But instead of removing his clothes or Jimin's, he laid him under the covers and hugged him once again

"Mm.. Tae, what are you doing?" he chuckled

"I wanted to see you so bad.. but I kept you awake and it's so late already. You need to rest, you have to work tomorrow"

They both had to. But Jimin's mind was running at full speed..
He was realizing, I wasn't only sex..
everything Taehyung did for him.. things Jungkook never thought of or never cared enough to do so

He was happy, he felt that someone actually cared for him
He snuggled into Taehyung's embrace
"Good night, Tae" he whispered

"Jimin.."

"yes?"

"I think i'm in love with you.."
