Part 9

Jimin opened his eyes and found himself in a room he didn't know.
It was dark, and cold.
He looked around and remember he was at Taehyung's place, and his first impulse was to remove the covers to make sure of something..
yes, he was still dressed

But Taehyung wasn't there
He grabbed the covers again and opened the door, realizing it was morning already when he could barely open his eyes due to the sunlight coming through the glass door

"Good morning"

He rubbed his eyes and looked up, seeing Taehyung in the kitchen
"Ah, good morning.
What.. when..?" he wasn't sure what to ask

"We fell asleep watching the movie last night. I woke up like at 3 in the morning and you looked exhausted, so I carried you to the bed"

Jimin immediately blushed. He didn't remember walking to the bedroom, but hearing Taehyung say it was completely different

"Don't worry, I slept on the couch" Taehyung added

Jimin turned and indeed, it looked like he had slept on it

"Are you cold? Come with me for a minute" they walked back to the bedroom and Tae grabbed a sweater from his closet

"You can wear this" Jimin let go of the blanket and looked at the sweater
It was so big compared to him..
But he was cold, and he didn't want to be rude, so he put it on
The sleeves were way too long, but it was warm

"You look so adorable" Tae gave him a gentle smirk whilst leaning against the door

"Don't I look funny?" Jimin pouted

"Not at all..
well, you woke up early after all, and I gotta go to work so.. i'll drive you home. We can have some breakfast on our way. Sorry, I don't have much here"

Jimin shook his head in response
"That's okay" he grabbed his phone and they headed out

"Thank you for letting me stay over"

"Don't worry about that, it's my fault anyway.. you were tired and I wanted to see you regardless, sorry about that"

He wanted to see me.. - the words echoed through Jimin's head, but he decided not to overthink things and stepped out of the car

"I have to go now, but text me later?" Taehyung said "it was fun"

Jimin smiled and nodded
"Let's do it again"

He waved as Taehyung took his leave.
Jimin got into his apartment, throwing his keys and phone over the table, and walked into the bathroom so he could wash his face.. but the mirror caught his attention
He stood in front of it thinking how silly he looked wearing that oversized sweater and started giggling, covering part of his face with his hands, which were wrapped inside the long sleeves...
he slowly closed his eyes, lost in the thought of how nice the sweater's scent was...

... how nice Taehyung's scent was

Taehyung's POV

Taehyung spent the day at the office thinking how cute Jimin looked that morning.. and the night before.. and the night before that one
He thought about texting him all day long, but he didn't wat Jimin to think he had some other interest on him besides being his friend..
at this point, Taehyung was starting to wonder about that himself, but he knew Jimin wasn't ready.. and he was not gonna push something that could make him lose what he already considered his favorite person in the world

did you have lunch already?

Tae smiled involuntarily at the sight of the message

Taehyung:
I still haven't, I have a lot of work to do

Jimin:
you won't be able to do it if you don't eat something

Taehyung:
ok, mom

He chuckled as he pressed send, but he was actually happy that someone cared..
no.. that Jimin cared..

Jimin:
how dare you? 😠
imma smack you, Kim Taehyung

Taehyung:
you know..
I just realized I don't know your last name
🤔

Jimin:
it's Park, Park Jimin

Taehyung:
Park Jimin..
that's a really nice combination

Jimin:
it's an awesome combination
but what did you expect? it's mine, and everything related to me is awesome because I am 😎😂

Taehyung laughed out loud at the office, without caring for a second who could hear him
This guy is something else - he thought
But he liked it.. he really did

Taehyung:
ok Mr. Awesome 🙄
imma go back to work
also, I don't think i'll get out of here on time today so..
we can meet another day?

He stared at his phone for a second, realizing he hadn't asked Jimin out that day in the first place
he had just assumed Jimin would want to see him.. but what if he didn't?

He snapped out of it as his phone chimed

Jimin:
that's ok
we can meet tomorrow🙂
you can come to my place this time

He sighed in relief
Yes, that had just happend

Taehyung:
tomorrow it is then😉
