Surprisingly, Pippa did fall asleep pretty easily the night after they visited Anthony. She was expecting to be up all night, just not being able to sleep, or to have a nightmare wake her up and keep her awake. But none of that happened. Pippa woke up feeling more refreshed than she had in a while. She also woke up to a note from Lin on the bedside table.
Pip,
Hello, My Love. I hope you slept well. Listen, I got called to help a friend with a music assignment, and I'll be back around 5.
I love you!

P.S. I love you...just wanted to say that again!
Pippa smiled to herself at the note. She chuckled gently at his little "P.S." note. She stood up from the bed, and after folding the sheets over and making the bed, she made her way to the kitchen and made herself some avocado toast.
After eating her breakfast, she decided to text Jasmine to see if she wanted to come over.
Pippa: Hey, home alone today. Want to come watch a movie or something?
Jazzy: Sure! I'll be over in ten minutes. Xx.
Jasmine did come over and the two girls talked everything under the sun, ending up ignoring the Netflix movie that was playing on the TV screen. They were currently a good half an hour deep into a conversation about trying to figure out who Jasmine's been crushing on. (My gosh, they were such ten year olds).
"Ah!" Pippa gasped, when she came to an answer. They'd basically listed off every guy in their Julliard class, except for this one guy. "You like Anthony!" Pippa squealed, and a definitive blush crawled across Jasmine's cheeks. "Ah, you're blushing! Admit it!"
"Fine, I'm crushing on Anthony." Jasmine rolled her eyes and chuckled. "You found me."
Pippa was smiling so brightly when Jasmine looked up from her lap. "You guys would be so cute!"
"You're delusional." Jasmine laughed. "Listen, I'm going to head out."
"Are you going to go kiss Anthony?" Pippa winked.
"No." Jasmine rolled her eyes once more. "I have some assignments to finish."
"Alright. See you later."

Surprisingly, the time since Jasmine left flew by pretty quickly, and Lin was walking back through the dorm room doors. "Hi, Love." He came around the table and gave her a kiss. "Sleep well last night?"
"Surprisingly well." Pippa chuckled. "Thank you for your note, that was really cute."
"Of course."
"Hey, I made some pasta, there's a plate for you in the fridge." Pippa said in between bites of her own plate of pasta.
"Thanks." Lin made his way over to the fridge, unwrapping the tin foil from the plate before sticking the plate in the microwave. Once his pasta was maybe too warm to eat right away, he sat down across from Pippa.
"So, tell me about this music thing."
"Oh, I was helping Aaron with studying for a music exam. Basically, they have this whole music theory final, and he has literally no id--"
"Wait, who's Aaron?" Pippa asked.
"Oh, you might know him. He lives right down the hall from Jasmine." Lin thought for a moment. "You might've had some acting stuff with him, that's his minor."
"Oh, I know who that is. Yeah, Jazzy's in directing with him."
Lin nodded. "But yeah, I was helping him figure this whole thing out, and then we worked a bit on this group project, and it's been a productive day."
"Well, good for you because I had a less than productive day." Pippa laughed. "Jasmine came over and we watched movies most of the day."
"Hey, nothing wrong with that." Lin smiled.
Soon after dinner, Pippa went and showered, then her and Lin watched an epsiode of Grey's before they went to sleep, and surprisingly, when she laid next to Lin that night, she truly felt like she was starting to heal.
