As you might see, Lucy and Lola are goddesses. However, Mira, Wendy, Juvia, Laxus are gods and goddesses as well.
Mira: Goddess of the Underworld
Wendy: Goddess of the Heavens
Juvia: Goddess of the sea
Laxus: God of Lightning
Jellal: God of Sun and Moon (his magic has changed in this story)
If you die being a god or goddess, you will reborn. Just like Lucy and the others did. However, there is a prophecy that explains that when the goddesses, Lucy and Lola, reunite. A world is created. This will be explained further in the story.
And btw, Fairytail currently forced themselves do not speak of the fact that they got their asses kicked. Yet. I think I should do a quick back at the guild chapter.
