Three months later

Maxon's point of view:

I wake up to America. I smile.

"Happy birthday!" She whispers.

What? It isn't my- wait! It's my birthday? I thought that wasn't for months.

"Are you sure?"I ask.

She giggles, "I know when my husband's birthday is."

"Fair enough." I mumble, wanting to go back to sleep.

"Get up! You have a big day," she says.

I sigh and sit up.

"Can't we just stay in bed?" I plead.

She gives me a kiss, "Not a chance."

I sigh and get up. She goes into the queen suite to get ready. Who knows what she has planned for today.

I walk back into our room from my closet. There is a note on the bed. I pick it up.

Hello my royal husbandness. Meet me where it all started.

Hmm. Oh! We met in the gardens! I quickly get dressed and run down to the gardens. I walk to our bench.
There is a note resting on the bench. I smile and pick it up.

It won't be that easy. I'm not as sweet as strawberry tarts.

The dining room! That was where we made the bet on strawberry tarts.

I run down the the dining room. There is a note on the table.

Your doing so well. I could just kiss you.

I think for a moment. We had our first kiss on her balcony of her room from the selection. I run up the stairs. For a moment I almost forget which one it is.

I run into the room. I search it for a note. I find it resting on a nightstand. I run and pick it up.

I love you so much that I would sail the seven seas for you.

Hmmm. Oh!! I was a pirate for the Halloween ball during the selection. I run down to the ballroom.

When I walk in I hear a big "Suprise!"
I look around. The room is filled with people. There is food and music.
I feel a hand place itself in mine. I look over.

"Happy birthday. I love you!" America says.

I smile. I lean in for a kiss. This is perfect. We break away from the kiss.

" I love you too."

We share a smile. Soon we are surrounded by friends. My mother's sister is here with her children. It makes me miss my mother.

After a while America comes up to me again.

"I have something for you," she says.

"You really didn't-"

She hands me a box. I smile at her and open it. It is a new camera.

"I love it!" I say.

She smiles, " I thought you would."

The night is perfect. We have fun with friends and family. This is the best birthday I've ever had.
