"I'm starving, I can't do this anymore I need to eat" Donovan said, his loud stomach was evident of his hunger.

"It's that bad for you huh?" April said placing a hand on Charlie's jaw as the horse continued to chew on cabbage they had stolen from a garden.

"When Was the last time you ate?" Donovan asked and April shrugged.
"When ever Charlie eats I eat-"
"Charlie only ever eats hay and fruits and vegetables, You haven't had meat in a while right?"

"Mother packed me some dried beef but by the time I rescued you, I had already eaten it all."

"How inconvenient" Donovan said through growled teeth.
"Here have a peach, they had a glorious peach tree practically blooming with fruits "
"I don't want fruits I need meat."

"You could go for a hunt while I try to find directions." April said as they continued walking.
"Promise you won't leave me here?"
"I've had many opportunities to leave you and yet I haven't. So just go and do what you have to do" April said directing Charlie to a random stack of hay in the middle of the ground road.

"Just don't leave okay?"
"I won't leave." April replies.

Once Charlie eats his fill she pulls him and they start to leave, in search of any one who lives in the area.
April climbs on top of Charlie and he start running in hopes of making their mission faster.

They ride through a thick forest and April looks around trying to memorize her location so going back won't be too much of a struggle.

She spots a small hut in the woods and she gets off her horse to go and knock on the door.
A woman opens the door and for a little April falls in a trance.

Something looked, smelled and tasted familiar about the flowery essence that was coming from this woman.

"My name is April Kenya, my father is The royal General. I'm looking for the sun's gate."
April said and the woman stepped out the house.

She was huge, she stood at 7 feet and her build was bulky.
April gulped, she's never met anyone that tall in her life much less a woman.

"The sun's gate is north from here, you're going the right way. But if you don't mind me asking, what is a lady doing waltzing into a war zone."

"I have something I must discuss with my father." April said and the woman raised a brow.

"Surely whatever arrange marriage your father has trapped you in isn't worth dying to change."

"Who are you to make that judgement for me?" April asked and the woman smirked
"Let's say that I'm an old friend of the family."

Donovan had his fill, energy was pumping through his core so he shifted behind a tree and then ran to the location he'd expected April to be.

"This way your highness," Clast was in charge of getting everyone of the women to a safe destination. Women seemed to be the target of most magical attacks. From virgin sacrifices to vampiric taste for purity.

Most men by the age of 17 in the kingdom were already married and holding
occupations, especially those of lower ranks.

Most tend to marry women older than them because of the woman's father's worth opposed to having to provide the worth themselves with a lesser established girl.

Akia was terrified, she had only ever encountered a witch once in her life.
April had met a girl in the forest named in Rose who could make flowers fly and bloom from thin air.

Rose had lived with them for a month until a strange woman with flowers blooming from her ears had arrived saying that she'd come to pick up her child.

April enjoyed Rose's company while Akia just wanted the small girl to hurry up and leave before her father figured out why the flowers were flourishing beautifully in the dry season.

Rose had latched on to the woman, seemly perfectly fine with the arrangement. With a bright smile she had waved goodbye to her friends and walked away with that woman.

Every since their garden has never had any problems growing. Even in the sleek winter ice. Flowers still bloom.

Clash led them to a dungeon like room after a dark and cold stairway. There were already most of the female maids and high bloods.

The area was cold and a woman had panic when she spotted a large eight legged bug climbing on the wall.
All the other women had huddled away from it and others had tried to kill the hairy creature before hazel had picked it up from the way and wrapped it up in her dress.

No one had spoken to her about her strange and unnerving act.

Everyone had sat quietly in the cold when all of a sudden the queen screamed and everyone turned to see her dress covered in blood.

"Mother I'm scared." Akia said grabbing on to her mother's dress sleeve.
"She'll be alright she was just frightened" Lady Kenya said kissing her daughter's forehead.

The queen was getting fanned by about 4 maids. She was screaming and tears of pain were falling down her eyes.

"She must be having an unfruitful birth." One of the women had said under their breath.
"A miscarriage" the other one had said before she was hurriedly hushed.

"A-A miscarriage" Akia stuttered.
"Remember when Mother told you that sometimes the earth makes mistakes?" Lady Kenya said pulling her watery eyed daughter closer as she spoke.
Akia nods. "Yes Mama."

"Remember how I told you that some times a child isn't meant to be yours-"
"Mhmm" Akia mumbled into her mother's chest while looking up at her golden eyes.

"Remember how I said that the earth takes back things that aren't meant to be yours?" Lady Kenya said and Akia frowns but once again mumbles.
"I remember."

"Akia honey, that something's inside of you." Lady Kenya said and Akia gasped pulling away.

"I thought you were talking about the queen." Akia said and her mother grabbed a hold of her.

"Whatever is happening with the queen is none of our business but it gave me an idea of how to stop the end of our nation as we know it-"

"What are you talking about mother?" Akia asked her eyes narrowed in pure confusion.
"We must kill your baby, if we want our world to remain the same."
