"Your highness!, please come out something terrible has happened!" Juliet knocked on the
King's door. She had ran to the meeting room with some guards but they said he'd left along time ago.
She stood anxiously waiting for a response when a guard walks up to them.
"He's with Lady Akia."
They all collectively run to the other side of the palace. Mina comes out of the room with the doctor.
"Is your majesty here?" Juliet asked and Mina shook her head.
"He's in a bath."
Ophelia gets in front of the queen's body.
"Your baby should be death by now." She said to the pained queen.
"W-wheres the antidote?" The Queen asked and Ophelia puts a hand through her pinned hair and pulls out a small bottle. Ophelia looks around before putting it in the woman's mouth and then hiding the rest inside The woman's breast wear. she does all this by hiding her actions with her body and other hand.
"Oh thank gods." The queen said as she's lifted away by guards.
all the kitchen staff were brought to the celebration hall and beaten to their knees.
The king arrived inside the celebration hall, his hair till dripping wet with his robes not fully tied yet.
"Who did such a thing on such a glorious day?, WHO BEGS SO DESPERATELY FOR MY ATTENTION THAT THEY'D POISON MY QUEEN." The king yelled, the entire hall visibly shakes.
"REVEAL YOURSELF NOW AND JUST MAYBE THE SUN WILL EXCUSE YOUR ACTIONS IN YOUR AFTER LIFE."
The maids start crying, all of them already knowing that if someone didn't come up and claim responsibility, they were the ones who were gonna die.
"Who handed her the food?" The king asked the kitchen monitor.
"Ophelia did sire." The kitchen monitor said.
"I had no idea it was poison sir-"
"You had no idea it was poison?, what does that mean?! You put something in the queen's food?."
"I-I her mother told me it was a fertility pill, something to help her next child become the sun king."
The queen mother's eyes widen at the accusation.
"Your highness, the pill was a simple beet pill. Nothing of the poisonous sort." The mother said and the father joins in.
"Exactly! It's from a simple beet farm in our compound I saw her make it." The father said.
The brother waits for his parents to stop speaking before he started saying his part.
"Your majesty!, the entire time they sat here they talked badly about the queen.. they made you out to be a reckless vulgar king who slept with mere maids, they were abolishing your honor sire."
The king's eyebrow lifted,
"Is that so?"
Both Clast and Michael the king's personal guards pulled out their swords.
"Your majesty.. we were only taunting her for the celebration. She is our daughter for goddess sake, why would we poison our only way into the palac-?" The father cried.
"Something's odd here." Clast whispers to Michael. Michael didn't respond.
"Your majesty.. they wanted me to marry you instead, they told me that if something happened to Marilyn that they'd put me on the throne instead." The Queen's 14 year old sister Elise said, her bottom lip wobbles as she makes the confession.
"THAT'S PREPOSTEROUS?, WHO HAS PUT YOU UP TO SUCH A BALA-" the mother screams.
The king interrupts.
"SILENCE."
The mother and the father whimper.
